“I cannot speak highly enough of the phenomenal experience I had at Turntables and Trails yesterday. I had attempted to install a new cartridge on my Rega RP1 and in the process, the solder holding the end clip on one of the little wires failed and came apart so I brought it all in hoping for some help.
Not only did Spencer repair the tone arm’s wires quickly, he provided a ton of knowledge about the cartridge I had purchased and several other options. He took the time to demo each of them and explain how the differences in the styli and cartridge bodies contributed to the differences in sound I was hearing. And after I made a decision using this new knowledge, he even installed my new cartridge and made sure my turntable was dialed in before I left. Again, absolutely exceptional customer service from such friendly and knowledgable people. Not to mention, the shop itself is just a blast to explore. I’ll be back to give them more business every chance I get.
Thank you so much!”
“Popped a flat on the Burke at night, stopped in before close and they were super helpful letting me borrow a pump and change my inner tube in the store. Super friendly and helpful. Great selection of gear, great folks :)”
“Was hunting down some Paul Desmond and after searching every other shop, Matt had like 5 copies of different albums. Great selection, and my favorite place to trade in records. Super fair and personable.”
“I love this adorable shop!
The merchandise is always top tier,
beautifully presented and priced right!
The staff is helpful and knowledgeable.
I've never left empty-handed.
TEN out of 10!”
“it is a great second hand store, everything has good quality, fair price, i have been buying things/selling things in this store for many years. the business owner is nice, friendly to take care of their customers. I am happy with this business .”
“I can’t say enough great things about this wonderful shop. I was warmly greeted by friendly stylists Liz (owner) and Kelly. As fellow elder millennials, they completely understood my plight trying to adapt to modern looks while retaining my own style. They hand picked multiple outfits for me and I walked out with four pieces I absolutely love and fit like a dream, for a small fraction of the price elsewhere. Anchor Chic is a total gem. Thank you Liz and Kelly!”
“I really love Pear Tree - they’ve consistently been one of my favorite shops for higher-end, high-quality items! The selection is always fantastic and I almost always find something great on sale. The staff have always been kind and friendly towards me. I look forward to coming back and finding all the Eileen Fisher finds 🙃”
“The best vintage store in Seattle hands down! And I love their fantastic customer service! I've found great pieces here over the years, and they carry amazing clothes in ALL sizes. That really means a lot to me:)”
“They have some fantastic items on display. Was able to find a really cool shirt, and I got a silver coin they had on display. Definitely a must visit for any big sports fan. They have more than just local teams on display.”
“What a hidden gem! Discounted furniture, decor, books, supplies, you name it. I snagged a knoll chair for $5 and a beautiful wooden chair for $10. They had plenty of Herman miller setu chairs for $25 each. They are only open on Tuesdays so plan accordingly. If the item cannot fit in your car, you can come back to pickup within a week. They are open every morning to early noon for pickup only. They accept credit card.”
“Absolutely love this store and my experience each time I step in. Everyone is always extremely welcoming and helpful but in particular, Beth is an absolute delight. I’ve found a few pieces at Odette and continue to adore each one. 💛”
“Good prices and furniture, but the guy that owns the store is just not a nice person. We’ve been there a few times, it’s just his disposition to dislike his customers. I was going to buy a thing, but my wife didn’t want to give him money. So good place for stuff, but only go if you don’t care about the proprietor being nice to you.”
“If you are looking for labels and used clothes and shoes in prestine condition, you should check this place out. It's a small place and the staff edits so only the good stuff is out. I've also had good luck with housewares”
“Excellent curation and so happy to see so many slow fashion brands I love and adore ( Rudy Jude, Ozma, Babaa, Jungmaven, ROAM, beyond 9 etc ) Had fun trying on pants and found so many cute things I loved! Settled on a pair of preloved Blundstones which was exactly what I was in the market for. So happy I finally popped in!
Prices reflect the secondhand slow fashion market and there was a good range of sizes. Excellent curation of goods. Friendly staff that let me roam and try on items in every corner. I felt like I could do my thing but get help when needed. Will be back!”
“I love this store. It's fun looking at all the beautiful pieces of clothing and accessories. Prices range from $40 to $$$
Happy with what I purchased.”
“Super cool collection and a great selection of vintage western wear. Astrid helped me find a few pieces that were exactly my style and was super welcoming from the moment I walked in. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!”
“I love this shop! They have a great selection of baby and kids gear. Much is second hand clothes and toys in good condition and a lot of new stuff as well. Kids wear clothes for such a short amount of time so l love to be able to buy second hand. I have not tried selling anything there yet but hope to in the future.”
“Very easy to deal with.
Profit split is up-front and easy to understand. Payment was easy and prompt.
Staff were welcoming.
Will consign for up to a year, astounding!”

“Spotted a rare item I've been looking for on a social media post. The item was reasonably priced and shipped immediately. I couldn't be happier with the customer service, will definitely recommend this shop to friends.”
“This is one of the best places to consign in Seattle! They have a specific process but it makes sense and the staff are informed on it. I've had difficulty consigning at other businesses in this city and Labels has their process down! They are very accommodating to various seller situations, like when I broke my foot and had trouble bringing things to and from the store. They always pick up the phone, try to make things work with you, and give a decent payout. I highly recommend selling with them!
As a buyer, there tends to not be as much in my size (L/XL/14). So unfortunately I haven't bought any clothes here yet. But they usually have great jewelry, bags and accessories!”
“O.M.G. BEST place ever! I went here on my birthday and found three fabulous dresses. I love the variety of dresses and accessories here. I wish the vintage items came in larger sizes. Great service and wonderful experience”
“Great selection but usually higher prices than other places. Usually can find similar vintage pieces for less online or other stores. But if you like a curated experience and don't care if you overpay, this place is perfect. 👌”
“Beautiful selection and well organized! I wish there were more size-inclusive pieces however I understand in the vintage-realm those can be challenging to curate.”
“A tidy and well curated shop with high quality used and vintage pieces for all! I found something perfect in the sale section. I wish they had more shoe options, but I understand they can be hard to find in good condition at the level of quality expected at this shop. Overall I would recommend this quiet and organized shop!”
“I've bought and sold a lot of furniture through Ballard Consigment, at all of their stores and they're the best folks in the business. They've been wonderful to buy and sell from, I really can't say enough nice things about them. Our home looks wonderful in no small part due to them.”
“I found them on Instagram when I saw the coat that I’ve been on the hunt for a long time! I flew to Seattle from NY just to pick it up! They are so helpful and have amazing pieces! Highly recommend consignment shop in Seattle!”
“Always great styles from yesterday and beyond. Great staff to add input or find that piece to nail the outfit. Seasonally fresh and good times. Nice Dolly Parton pinball machine!!!!”
“This is hands down my favourite store on the planet. Seriously. Beautifully curated and inspirational. I live in Victoria, so not easy to visit, but I do when I can. There maybe vagaries with pricing or hours (other reviews) but don’t let that stop you. That is art.”
“I love shopping there! It is warm and inviting and Mary is the bomb! It is nice to have a consignment store so close by with fun item and great clothes! I have also consigned there and was happy to have money to out towards my purchases!”
“Great resource for seniors. I get foot care done every six weeks by Echo, this has improved my quality of life. I also enjoy the lunches, they are a nice opportunity to meet others.”
