My husband and I have RV'ed all over the country and this is the BEST all around campground we have ever stayed at. The best way to describe it is that it is the perfect balance between a "resort" and a "campground". It's not so pristine that you don't feel like you're camping... but the grounds are so aesthetically pleasing and well kept that it feels like a luxury resort. The staff members are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to be sure you have a great stay. Everything is well kept, in working condition and CLEAN. The prices are very reasonable and it has truly been a pleasure staying at The Silver Cove RV Resort (we have stayed here twice in the span of 3 years). Great for families, pets and anyone who wants to explore the Mt. St Helen's area. Thank you Silver Cove for taking such great care of your facilities and your guests. We will be back!

First trip of 2024 for me,my hubby my son & my dog. This was also our first time coming out to silvercove & it did not disappoint. We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday weekend because he loves to fish and the we came to the right place. We were welcomed by the friendly manager Cherry & she showed us so much hospitality. We rented premium cabin 86 which had 1 bedroom & an additional loft upstairs with a queen bed As well. Fully furnished with all kitchen supplies &we honestly didn't even have to bring anything but food to cook. Living room had a TV with a couch that fold out to a sleeper as well. Very clean & they had toiletries and shampoo & conditioner also. The Canal had so much Perch & Crappie. Even my son who Is a beginner caught so many fish. We were told we came towards the end of the season, I can only imagine how much action we would have gotten in the beginning of the season. The staff is so kind & helpful. The office has a little store and also has all the fishing supplies you need. We also bought personalized jigs from LD Jigs which were the best.We are really die hard fishing family & this is the most action I have seen in a long time. We will be coming back for sure.

We went to Silver lake Thanksgiving weekend. This is our first time and we rented cabin 85 and 86. The resort is very clean, well kept and maintained. It's a nice place to go relax or do some fishing. There's plenty of fishes out there and good sizes too.The staff there are friendly and nice. The manager Cherry is super helpful and a kind person. We like it so much we already booked cabins again.

Is this place open for business? I have emailed 2x. Called 3. and left 2 messages. The website isn't accepting bookings. Does anyone work there? I'm trying to book for this weekend. Frustrating to not get a reply.

We travel for work and have stayed at many Rv parks/campgrounds. This was hands down the best one we've stayed in yet. We stayed for about 2.5 months. The people in the office are really helpful and friendly. The park itself is beautiful and well kept with nice neighbors. The only issue I saw was that the WiFi really only worked near the laundry room/front of the park. But overall, great place. Would definitely recommend!

Fun place. Can't wait to try this again come warmer weather. We came in after us, we asked if we could stay just a little bit longer at checkout, and they were good with that too plenty of activities around the park, especially fishing, seem to be very popular.

I can see the attempt at making this place nice but if you look a little closer you’ll notice things that don’t add up to being $100/night. Save yourself some money and easily look elsewhere. No close restaurants, bathroom and shower facilities are severely lacking and the women’s shower was out of order. I’d pay $30/night for this but $100/night is laughable. Fool me once I guess!

Love this place! New owners, prices have gone way up! $95 per night. Park was virtually empty when we drove through today. We're thinking prices too high.

This isn't camping. These are grass and gravel parking lots. Place was only at maybe 5% occupancy when we visited. But there would normally be no privacy. Only stumps remain where hundreds of trees shown on their web site once stood. Between the hours of 8 to 5 (not counting lunch) you constantly hear the employees racing around in their gas powered carts. At $90 a night for a basic back in site it is very over priced. Could get a median hotel room for that. The place is very clean, I saw fewer than 10 pieces of trash on the ground in 2 days. The common rooms are mostly kept pretty clean. There was some cult indoctrination materials left in the main hall one night but camp staff properly disposed of it the next day. While there are a few maintenance issues they seem to pretty well keep up. I saw staff painting picnic tables and emptying trash cans. They could be more efficient and buy a couple of riding mowers. They literally have acres and acres of grass and staff use push mowers. Their ADA parking spots are not ADA compliant. Check in was fast and easy from my online reservation. I walked in and they handed me an envelope with my name, site number and codes for bathrooms and wifi. The wifi was strong, no issues streaming tv. You are expected to use your onboard bathroom and shower. There are only 3 single stall bathrooms and 3 single stall showers. Not nearly enough if they were at capacity. There is a playground and the toys are well maintained and painted, but they are very old. Lots of trash cans but no recycle cans anywhere. They charge a $5 fee per night for paying with credit card which last time I checked violated the Visa Mastercard merchant agreement. And, they have a sign in the lobby that they don't accept cash. Which I'm not sure is legal under federal law. So how are you supposed to pay? There are no emergency phones and it is a long walk to the office. No campground hosts ever seen.Nearby activities: Closest thing would be the Mt. St. Helens visitor center about an hour away.Safety: No police or sheriff's presence patrols. No security guards or cameras. Very unsafe.Walkability: Not walkable to anything. Nearest store, restaurant or gas station is 5 miles.

Do NOT arrive early. We arrived 20 minutes early and they charged us $25 to check in even though the site was completely open. I don't know why they call it a resort, there is no pool or hot tub. Electrical boxes had wasp nests in them. I won't go here again.

We arrived 80 minutes early and were told there would be a $25 fee for early arrival, this on top of $95+ fees for a pull through. All the sites are in gravel and not level. Most of the garbage cans were full at 1:00pm and 95% of the sites were empty. The internet was weak, even standing under the repeater. We have had a much better experience at half the price. Very disappointed.

Way overpriced. Not worth what they charge.
