They over charged us for the fire sprinkler system because they told us that they will take care the warranty service. So we have to pay for. But after 9 months they finished to build the house, The fire sprinkler tank got leak. It has been six month since the tank leak, There is still nobody to come fix the it.Be careful with this company.Services: Home building

They are not good at repairs after you sign off on your home.

Looking to find land and build a custom home is quite a uphill adventure. From regulations, budgets, and even trust throughout the process can be complex at best. Chris Josephson was amazing, he really is a asset to Adair. He would always be ready to jump on the phone with me and patiently explain complex processes and considerations for as long as it took. I truly appreciated how upfront he was with us as well, speaking up when he though something was not in our best interest or even how we could maximize our budget over anything else. He was even willing to change up his usual work flows and style to help us be comfortable with how we wanted to plan things. There are a good number of builders out there, it really was difficult to choose which we wanted to go with. Some of it comes down to region of where you want to build. Adair also isn't the cheapest around, but they do seem to be the most customizable and can make beautiful homes. Despite the various tradeoffs, we wanted to work with Adair specifically due to work with Chris on our home build.Ultimately, we ended up actually finding a already built custom home that was really similar to the custom home we wanted to make, on land we liked. So we ended up buying a home instead of building one. Regardless i wanted to say thanks Chris for being there even when we were uncertain what the path we would take is.

Less than 2 years after moving into our newly built Adair home the roof is leaking. They only provide a 1 year home warranty so this repair will have to come out of our own pocket. The terms of the warranty were clear when building the home, it is just very dissapointing that a newly built home can have a roofing leak due to poor workmanship that no one is responsible for.The roofing companies that I contacted provide a much more substantial workmanship warranty, so at least I will not have to worry about the repair lasting.

Its been a pleasure working with Adair homes and especially with Mark Fritts the supervisor. He was very professional and his 40 plus years experience has allowed me to trust all the decisions and ideas for my project. I would recommend this company to my friends and family

I loved the no pressure sales! We've been looking to build a home on property we inherited from a family member and every time we've inquired at other places, they instantly start acting like used car salesman waiting for you to quickly close the deal. Not here, they answered all of our questions and allowed us to get a real idea of what it was going to cost us to build our dream home without all of the added pressure to instantly make a decision.

Disappointed. Hard to find, no model homes though their website sort of indicates they have them. We went in on Saturday and it was apparent we didn't have an appt (didn't know we needed one) so not that helpful.

We moved into our home at the end of January 2020 with items that were incomplete regarding the final construction of our home. Adair noted on the home orientation form filed by the project superintendent that these items would attempted to be corrected by the end of March. Although initially some progress was made on these items some of them have still not been completed over 8 months later and the only progress that is ever made is when I contact the Superintendent to push him to do his job. At this point we still have discrepancies to our water-heater, roof, windows and cabinets. I have given ample opportunity to correct these problems. The last time Adair was on site to attempt to remedy any of the issues was in July. There was no communication after that for over 6 weeks until when I reached out for a status on the remining items. It was then over a month before I reached out again for status and there was no reply. I emailed and texted the superintendent on 10/1/2020 requesting that they provide me a plan on how they intend on completing the repairs and they have failed to reply. The superintendent texted me on 10/5/2020 that he would be in contact with me on 10/6/2020 but that never happened.

Chris Josephson was our Home Ownership Counselor. Since this was our first build as an investment property, my wife and I were a bit unsure if we could pull it through but, we were armed with written questions and concerns when we first met up with Chris at the Silverdale office. Having indicated to Chris that we already own the lot, he patiently and lucidly explained all the aspects or phases of homebuilding process, from start to finish.First, he touched on the financing aspect, citing the different ways you could finance the build including applying for a HELOC program. He then explained that although we owned the lot outright, he explained the cost of Site Preparation which could be substantial depending on the availabilities of utilities, excavation, etc. That was quite an eye opener to say the least.Once we decided on an specific Adair Homes plan, he went on to explain the step by step process, and showing on the computer the standard specs and versus options/custom, the different types, colors, of materials involved, pros and cons, etc., different equipment and appliances.During the building process, Chris had also kept the communication line open which allowed us to resolved issues and concerns. We are not saying that our build went without a hitch or issues. They explained beforehand that once the contract is signed there is no room for flexibility unless it pertains to new rules or codes, etc.So, overall we appreciate Chris's good knowledge, professionalism, patience, enthusiasm, and service with a smile. Well done, Chris. You are a good asset to Adair Homes and keep up the good work.

My experience with Adair is mixed. So far, my experience has been pleasant at face value. As most sales representatives have been expectedly professional and kind.Be aware of:1. I was told $300,000 is not a realistic budget for most homes they offer.2. Credit must be (at least) over 640, as I was originally denied lending from their in house lenders with a 640 score.3. After denied from in-house, never got the promised follow-up from rep at Adair. This review is not conclusive as the process is on going. Updates to come.

The ordering process was straightforward, but there appears to be a disconnect between the sales office and the builders. We had asked for wood rails and balusters and paid nearly $5,000 for that. The builder put in composite material and now refuse to put in wood as was ordered and paid for.
