It's not the best, but it's the biggest. Staff is friendly, but don't expect your selection to go too far beyond best seller lists and reprints of big names. Also, not as much hardcover as there should be, IMO.

The store is great and the staff very nice. Unfortunately, I got an expensive Lego set there and when I opened it the box contained 2 much cheaper sets instead. It seems like someone bought the set, made the switch and returned it, then the box was put back on the shelf without checking that it contained the correct set. When I reached out about it to Barnes & Noble they said they couldn't do anything because the return window had expired (it was a Christmas gift bought in August). Lego wouldn't offer an exchange either because they deemed that Barnes & Noble were responsible for the incorrect item in the box.Edit February 2024: after many calls with Barnes & Noble they agreed to do an exchange. They found 1 item and sent it to one of their nearby stores where we did the exchange. The staff member and I opened the box and we went through the contents. The bag numbering was unusual (1-1, 2-3, 5-1, etc.), which made it hard to know if something was missing as it didn't match the instructions. However, the staff member (who was very nice) assured me it was OK and that Lego would send any missing pieces. When I opened at home and started building it I quickly realized that I was missing a piece. After doing an inventory it turns out more than 300 pieces were missing (in a kit of ~1700 pieces). I reached out to Lego and they said they would not do anything about it and that it was Barnes & Noble's problem to deal with. So I'm back to square 1 (even worse as before I at least had 2 full sets).

This is one of my favorite B&N on this side of the Puget Sound. This location is large and has a full cafe inside along with a large stationary/gifts/other section. I like coming here specifically for the stationary and gifts when I'm not looking for books. It's really disappointing at times when you go to a B&N looking for their unique gifts/stationary section only to find it's really small or just not there in general -- that's what makes this one a step above some other locations nearby this one in my opinion. The staff are always nice and I've never had issues finding books I was looking for either. This location is a part of the mall and does have a mall entrance in case that's something that's of interest.

Great selection of books, magazines, and gifts. I appreciate a small book store, but the shear volume of a mega bookstore and the experience of the boom of the 90's is still felt here.I am not a fan of the curtain direction of product areas that they are dabbling (board games because I own a small game business), but that has always been the case with these establishments.
