Central Kitsap Food Bank is a great local resource providing a great and wonderful selection of food, along with some clothing, books, and other services. The volunteers and staff are lovely, friendly, compassionate, and very helpful, creating a kind and good environment. People find it a great service to the community, especially when budgets are tight, funds are low, or in a time of need. The place is clean and fresh. Parking is cramped but manageable. The kindness and helpful atmosphere ease nerves for those who may feel nervous or self-conscious about visiting.
