When I called the store regarding repairs, they said I could buy a new chair, since mine was 5-years old! Warranty work experience was over-priced, the customer pays to ship covered warranty parts, a fuel surcharge of $100 (to travel 45 minutes from the store) was added, tech fee $182.00 per hour (with tax).. on hold for over 45 minutes to start the service process.Terrible customer service experience!

We paid thousands of dollars for a couch and two recliner chairs that has a manufacturing defect, as stated by the subcontractor technician, that lazy boy sent to fix the first time they came out. It literally took months to get them to see it, over another month for them to get the part, and another month for them to come and see it again to say that the parts don’t work and that it’s a manufacturing defect. This is beyond ridiculous. This experience has led me to believe that the quality of lazy boy furniture no longer exists.Guess what, it’s still not fixed. There was a package dropped off on my front porch on with the back part of the recliner, I guess they are expecting me to fix my own recliner without so much as a call or notification. I called the service provider and I guess it will take another month to send someone to fix it and then I was told I will have to dispose of the defective chair. They simply do not care once they get your money. I bought La-Z-Boy furniture years ago, and recently, and there is a big difference. Now, I wouldn’t recommend them. Why are they charging hundreds to put your furniture under warranty and then they don't follow up on it when you call the store to complain?

So, while looking for nice, comfortable chairs, we decided to choose La-z-boy. We ordered our chairs and waited. We ended up calling to find status on our order and found that the chairs were in their warehouse. Great, right? Right. But we were informed that we would need to pay the remaining 50% payment to have them send the chairs to their store for us to pick them up. Wow. We did this after a few days of me stewing about their "policy" and being dismissed without even an appearance of giving a moment of understanding. So, when we went to pick up the chairs, I was, again, blankly looked at and condescendingly dissed when I recommended they tell people about the "policy" of full payment prior to having the product released from the warehouse and to their store. Salesmen of a certain age should know better than to patently dismiss women of that same certain age. Very irritating and I won't be going back.

Grumpy, unhelpful, and overall bad service. I walked around the showroom for 2 hrs and none of the staff members even greeted me to see if I needed help. Half of the showroom furniture does not work.

Wow! They sure have a lot of recliners which is why my Soul Sister and I was there. Also did some window shopping as well while she tested them out. Nice young Sales Associate helped her.

I'll start with the positives. Furniture is decent quality. You are able to modify style and fabric. Show room is nice. The negatives... Oh where do I start. The %30 memorial day discount sale was promising. We were going to buy a sectional and a swivel recliner. The prices are quite a bit steeper than other furniture stores but a 7000ish sectional should have been about 5500ish after the %30 sale and a 1500 chair should have been 1200 or so accounting for taxes. WELL one of the first questions I ask was if the fabric was included in price and the answer was "Yes it is included but if you upgrade to leather it may be a couple hundred dollar difference.". Well after an hour or so of searching for the right fabric we were given a price of 12000 for JUST that 7000 sectional that should have been 5200 after the deal. Apparently that was the price of the couch without the fabric and we were lied to and wasted so much time and energy picking a fabric. The fabric we chose was NOT leather it wasn't even very fancy, it just had a pattern we liked but it somehow tacked on another 7000 to the price and so we thought we would try and get a quote for the MOST basic fabric and that price was still around 10000 for JUST the sectional. To SUM it up:Outrageous prices and snake like sales tactics. With sale price of %30 off but extra charges of about %75 of original price.

This is beyond ridiculous. This experience has led me to believe that the quality of lazy boy furniture that your parents had, and your grandparents might’ve had, no longer exists. I feel they’re just riding on the coattails of a reputation that was built long ago. And guess what, it’s still not fixed. Our experience has been. They simply do not care once they get your money. I bought La-Z-Boy furniture years ago, and recently, and there is a big difference. Now, I wouldn’t recommend them. If they correct my situation, I will publicize that.

First, the store, salespeople are Great. The company has real problems with supply, but in these times, who doesn't. The MAJOR problem I have with store is every time my wife goes in there she buys something.

I was told to accept the chair even if there was any damage and it would just be fixed. Going through their warranty services has been a freaking nightmare and the part has taken over three months to arrive. I don’t recommend this company to anyone. Horrible experience. The actual maintenance people have been great, but getting to them was hell.

Just because I'm wearing a T-shirt and jeans... DON'T dismiss me... two different sales people, walked past my wife and I to greet other people.. We just bought a house, and are looking to outfit the entire house with furniture... in the neighborhood of $15,000.... and to be disrespected like this is disgusting...

We bought a couch and loveseat at this place and they gave us a floor model , the loveseat is broke when we got it, the electric recliner was broke. The couch had been worn on one arm (elbow to wood) no padding at all , have contacted them several times since we bought the couch in may , we paid a lot extra for the warranty, we have been very uncomfortable in this thing since we bought it in may for 4500.00 dollars including the warranty that they aren’t backing ,it’s been five months , should have gotten a brand new one in the time I’ve had to wait. In order to contact someone it is miserable and very time consuming,5 hours one day!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My order for loveseat and sofa was placed on August 9th. When I tried loveseat in store, the power recliner made a grinding noise. I was told it was because it had been unplugged. I called back to the store prior to delivery and spoke with my salesperson to ensure they had checked out the noise. I was told it was fine. My loveseat arrived and was making the same grinding noise upon reclining so I haven’t used it. The delivery guys commented on it and wrote it down on ticket that loveseat was not working correctly. I called store and spoke to a guy as my sales lady was on vacation and he said he would have it repaired/ get issue resolved for me and would call me back on timing. No return call. I called customer service several times over a period of 3 days and received message saying call back between business hours which I was doing so it was frustrating. I finally reached a live person after several attempts who said no repair ticket had been turned in for me so I requested repair. That was August. It is now September 23 and no repair completed as I guess their one repairman was in an accident so now can’t come until Oct 8th. The sofa which was supposed to come early September is now to arrive late September(I can only hope). I’ve been without a sofa this entire time with a useless loveseat. If I could cancel my order, I would but I bought floor model which were on sale and I can’t return. I will never buy furniture again from Lazyboy. . Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced and now I worry about future repairs if needed based on the length of time in getting a service guy out. I bet they charge me for the service call too which I will have to contest. What started as an exciting new furniture purchase has tuned into a huge hassle and disappointment.

I can only speak on my store experience, simply because my Wife and I ordered our chairs so we await them, excitedly lol. So! I wish I remembered the man’s name, (young brotha), but seemed like a seasoned salesperson. But without all the showy salesperson type of attitude. He was extremely professional, very soft spoken and in an a matter of fact fashion. I didn’t feel pressured. He gave us our space to decide, but also was there to give us any info we needed so we could make a more solidified decision. The process was easy, and fast. Much appreciated! ??
