They were able to see my dog quickly and gave him the best care possible. I'm impressed with their care, I feel like they treated my dog as their own. Happy to go back again.

We have had rude comments and threats of full charges if I don’t confirm appointments. We missed one and we charged full price not $25 like the website says. Prices have increased which were not mentioned in the practice, on website, app or by email. I’m in there weekly for a sick cat. It wasn’t mentioned once yo me. Being rushed out of an appointment when the vet had not shared the blood work results. She briefly went over them as I was checking out. Huge turnover in vets and staff. Since the original owner left, this practice has gone down hill. Sadly after 20 years with this practice we will not return.

Dr. Alvarez was very caring and helpful to both my dogs that were being seen for a checkup. She was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for my concerns on my dog’s heart condition. I highly recommend seeing her at Ridgetop. Thank you Dr. Alvarez.

I wish I remembered the gals name who took us back. She was hands down amazing. My dog was previously labeled aggressive at a vet after anesthesia. He apparently growled. He is nervous and gets scared and because of his breed he tends to get a bad wrap. The office knew this when I booked his appt and made me feel so calm. Doctor Emily really took her time and my dog had NO issues at all. He barked once when he was scared when a worker looked in the window because he was spooked but that was it. One bark. He got shots, had a nasal vaccine and a full check and was great. I am so glad I switched offices and have no anxiety about returning.

I brought my dog here for over 10 years. I don't know what has happened, but the last three years they have been horrible. I get a different vet every time I come in. They don't review records or know your dogs history and medical conditions before their exam. They just recommend expensive tests that have already been done. It takes weeks to get an appointment and the wait in their parking lot is ridiculous. I waited in the parking lot last winter over an hour past my appointment time. Last week I took my dog in and the vet prescribed eye drops. When I got home I found that the $17 drops were within just a couple week of the expiration date. I called them the next day and they said no problem, I could stop by and they would give me a new bottle. I sat in their parking lot for 45 minutes. Three different staff picked up the call and just kept putting me back on hold. Finally they said the prescription was ready and asked what credit card I wanted to use, I stated I was under the impression there would be no charge. The staff got nasty with me and asked "what makes you think you can have them for free". Then staff said they talked to Dr. Fulcher who said no, I can just use the expiring drops. The staff were very rude and short with me. I told them to tell the Dr I have had enough and I will never be back. The next week I got a letter from them stating I was "combative and disrespectful" and they terminated our vet/client relationship. Well no, I terminated it. I wonder if they are aware of the level of poor customer service by their staff, or if they care at all. Or, if they are aware clients are told one thing over the phone and then say something else later. Are they aware we sit and wait for extended periods in our cars well past appointment times? They certainly do not have a relationship with us. They don't know my pet from one visit to the next or bother to read her chart. They are only concerned about making money off their clients not the health and well-being of our pets. If you care about your pet, do not use this clinic.

I have been very happy with the care up to today! Over a week ago i came into the clinic with my dog for his yearly shots. During the visit they were nice to look at him as an emergency visit as he has developed large masses on his body. During the visit they took a sample of the mass and send it over to an outside lab. As i have NOT heard from them for over a week, i decided to give them a call. The first time when i called the receptionist has informed me that they called me and left a message, that i have not received. Further she started to read the notes and all over sudden stopped saying that she will have to get a doctor to call me back , with no ETA on when that will happen. At first i said ok and said my good bye. Few min later i called back and asked one more time if she can provide me some sort of information in regards to the result or see if any doctor is available, even a vague answer would suffice at that moment. The receptionist didn't even try to check if anyone is available just told me that they are running appointments and no one is available and hung up on me. Just an fyi, i was not rude to her in any way, i was just asking for answers. I feel like after paying $178 for the biopsy i deserve an answer, and NOT the poor customer service that i got. I called back and got to speak with a different receptionist, she claimed that she was the head receptionist. She still didn't provide any answers. So after the 3 calls i was left worried in tears and a sour taste in my mouth.

I've been going to Ridgetop for about 10 years and awhile ago, something changed that you can't get in for weeks at a time, the staff seem to have rotated too often and you now have to pay for prompt care. I called this morning and got a new staff member who said normal appts are 2 months out but I can pay for prompt care but would have to call in daily. No thank you; finding a new vet for my babies.

Never, ever take your pets here. I have been a client with my two dogs for years and haven't switched providers mainly out of convenience- however, Ridgetop officially lost my business today by displaying the absolute worst customer service, and most disgusting behavior I've ever experienced. I'm writing it here in hopes that the Medical Director, Dr. Fulcher, sees it because he is very kind and I know he would be mortified at how the front desk staff treated me today. Here is what happened: I called this morning st 9:00 am to ask if I could drop off my dog's stool sample for testing today, and if I needed to come at a certain time, and I was told to come by ANY TIME today and text them in the parking lot (per covid protocols). I showed up at 12:50pm and texted that I had the sample- after waiting several minutes, I noticed that nobody was inside and saw a handwritten note saying "Closed today from 12-2pm for staff meeting" on one of their windows. That was a bummer given I had called in the morning to check when I should come, but I decided to go get groceries and come back in an hour. [Sidenote: I have a 5 month old infant so it is challenging to have him out for extended periods of time because of his nap and feeding schedule. It requires planning. This is why I called to double check before going there in the morning.] I returned at 1:52pm and saw that a handful of staff had returned to the front desk, and I saw one employee bring some meds out to another customer in the parking lot, so it appeared that the staff meeting was over. I texted asking if I could drop the sample at the door with no response. Then I tried to call at 1:55pm, but the phone was still going directly to voicemail saying they were in a Staff Meeting even though I could see them all back up front. At this point my baby is starting to cry and I have to get him out of his car seat. I decided to walk up to the window and just show them my sample baggie to gesture asking if I could leave it at the door. A blonde woman inside very angrily gestured at me by pointing to my truck as if to say "get back in there". I started heading back to my truck when she stormed to the door and YELLED at me. "MAM, WE ARE CLOSED FOR A STAFF MEETING!" I was taken aback at how disgusting her tone was given I had called in the morning, followed the protocol for texting, tried calling at 1:55pm after I had seen they were back at their desks and were bringing meds to another customer, and simply gestured if I could leave my sample through the window. This woman should be ASHAMED of how she treated a loyal customer who did everything in advance to make sure I could drop the sample off quickly. I even had my baby in my arms and she had the audacity to scream at me. I yelled back that I called in the morning and was told to drop off the sample any time and then she yelled to get back in my car and text (which I had obviously already done with no response). Of course I left after being treated like absolute garbage by this woman- I refuse to give this horrendous place another cent. I already have another vet lined up and I am thrilled! Dr. Fulcher, if you see this, I am sad that I can't bring my pups to see you anymore because you're great, but your staff is out of control.

A regular wellness appointment took over an hour. They were running behind but did not let me know on the phone when I called to let them I wanted to reschedule because I didn't think I would make it. They told me I would be charged a $66 cancellation fee if I rescheduled. I was able to make it on time but they were running 25 min late. After waiting in my car an hour I got my dog back and drove home only to realize they didn't even trim my dogs nails even though that's why I went there. I live 40 min away so I'm not driving back. So frustrating. Definitely not going back.

Dr. Fulton is the ultimate Doctor! He is very professional, very knowledgeable, and very compassionate. His concern for the care, pre-op of Benjamin shows his empathy and compassion for the animals that he treats. Ben was seen yesterday, 5/11/2021 because he self- mutilated his tail. Dr. Fulton explained to me that 3% of dogs typically do this after surgery. I can’t express my feelings of gratitude towards this kind, very professional Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Kudos, Sir!
