The owner is a fantastic guy! I was driving west on hwy 14 in the late afternoon and I had a filthy windshield (inside and out), the sun was making for rather dangerous driving conditions creating a bad glare. I stopped in to buy some glass cleaner wipes, they normally have them in stock but had just recently ran out. Just as I was leaving, the owner handed me a bottle of glass cleaner and a roll of paper towels from behind the counter! I was able to get my windshield squeaky clean and continue my journey safely :) Though it was a small gesture of kindness, it’s acts like this that sustain my admiration for my fellow humans, what a great guy!

All but dead these days. Aint much more than a convenient store at this point, no hot food. Damn shame as there’s certainly a market in need!

I work for Amazon as a driver, and often times get stuck in the area with no other options for food for lunch. Every time I have been here they refused to make any hot food, none was stocked, and they gave me attitude when i asked if they could fry up a chicken tender. I work for 10 hours and when I stop for food its only because I am starving and willing to take time out of my route to try to get some. Terrible place.

Description says gas station but we didn’t see any pumps. Disappointed that we passed the Chevron because of this inaccurate description.Editing review because they responded to say there are 2 pumps. We didn't see them from the road nor do I see them in any of the pictures. Perhaps a bigger sign pointing to the location of the gas pumps would help?

So glad they were open on thanksgiving! Took a 3 hour drive from Tacoma to hike at beacon rock for the holiday and it’s definitely hard to be able to do my normal day trip stuff on a holiday so it was extremely helpful. The lady at the counter was extremely kind. They even had souvenirs and hats/sweaters for that area! Super convenient place to stop for snacks and trinkets

Very nice people, and for a deep-woods roadside little general store, 15+ miles in any direction from the nearest City Hall, their pricing was actually very reasonable. Sure, there was a mild premium attached to most items, but it was on the scale of 10%-25%, not an automatic doubling or more of the price, as is all too common in most convenience stores, whether out in the boonies or not. And they carry an astoundingly broad and thorough array of nearly everything under the sun :)

I had $10 in change and needed gas and the owner of the store told me to go to town and cash it in at the bank. Obviously I didn't have enough to go anywhere and maybe that's why I had change..... apparently my $10 in change wasn't as good as the $10 bill the guy next to me had. Luckily we made it to the next gas station that didn't judge us or how we paid.

I commuted from North Bonneville to Vancouver for work for over a year. I stopped here for my morning Red Bull and other convenience items least 2 to 4 times a week. Mike is super awesome. And I always enjoyed chatting with them. And now that I live elsewhere every time I drive through the gorge I stop in here just for old time sake. Keep up the good work guys.
