I was almost totally out of a prescription and the Asian man in the pharmacy was very rude. I think they didn't give me enough meds and I asked if they could loan me some for the time being since it was too soon to refill and I'd have to wait a whole week. Well he gave me a very hard time and bluntly refused to loan me any. This is totally unacceptable! I loved Bartells and been going here almost all my life but it's gone downhill. I can't even reach anyone on the phone and their drive through is never open anymore and it takes days to get prescriptions filled. I'm getting fed up and I've had it and I'm fixing to find a new pharmacy.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. They are rude when they text you for prescription that it’s ready it’s not actually ready. It seems every time I go in there the window shut and it’s closed. They are never in stock in my ADHD medication every month and they never have it. I always have to go to other pharmacies or wait past the date that I need it, so I’m going without my medication that I need because they don’t know how to keep a restock And I’m having to run all over the place looking for my medication just the worst customer service ever

I believe all the Bartells are suffering. They were brought out by Rite Aid. I was in the pharmacy today to pick up my prescription for antibiotics. It was called in yesterday by the doctor at 4pm. Not ready: ( Had to wait a ridiculous amount of time. I am leaving them for good. Also everyone in that place looks completely miserable.

Pharmacy service is terrible. 15 people in line, drive thru closed due to staffing shortages and the guy working the counter was like watching Tim Conway on Laugh In (70s reference). He was so slow which only made a bad situation worse. This pharmacy used to be great, past four years it has gotten awful. Needs a complete overhaul.

Horrible! They are getting worse than ever! Poor service, long wait time for prescriptions! Their terrible texts are lies! They tell you the prescription is ready, but when you get there it isn't! They run out of stock, they closed their drive-up window! I have to go back 2 times and repay in person! They are so awful now! Years ago it was good, not anymore! I'm going to switch pharmacies!

I will first start with -- everyone there is pleasant, however. The Prescriptions are NEVER EVER ready. even with 2 trip in they still don't have things ready. you get text messages that its ready and its not ..... the most frustrating thing ever. DONE

No communication. The only way to get an rx filled is to show up and ask for it because no matter how long they've had it, they aren't working on it. If they're out of something they don't let you know, just let you wait and come in to be told to go call around. Called easily 30 times this week, they never answer. Voicemail is full. If you want somewhere to hang out for 2 hours with a bunch of sick people with covid this is the place though.

I have a basic understanding of how pharmacies work.. they don't actually have a laboratory in back that manufactures the meds, they rely on outside sources for meds, and are at the mercy of manufactures timeline.. when they submit your refill/order, they may find out meds are not available (it's not an immediate response from med source folks) if they have a partial order , better than none right?? As far as rude staff, I don't know how they put up with "the world revolves around me" customers! Lighten up folks, staff is doing the best they can to work with you, can you say the same?
I enjoy the store, staff and I am ok with waiting for my meds to arrive, knowing pharmacy is waiting too!

This evening was a not very great evening for Bartell and me. They texted me that my Rx was ready yesterday for pickup. I got there this evening, and they only had ½ of my Rx ready! And now I have to make a 2nd trip to pick up the 2nd piece of Rx! Sin e being taken over by Rite-Aid, the service of this pharmacy and its employees have suffered. I have lost all employees whom I maybe had a few (3-5) troubles with, over 22-23 years. Unfortunately, I'm limited by my insurance, and this is where I'm going to have to stay. Be prepared to receive texts that your Rx is ready, only for you to drive there and find that it's not ready yet and you'll have to wait for them to get to it or to come back later or the next day.

I came in to get scripts filled after a wisdom tooth extraction. I was a bloody mess and I can’t say how awesome the store employees are and the pharmacy! They were so busy but saw my situation and took care of as fast as they could. I had to use the bathroom a couple times as well from all my bleeding and there was an employee cleaning them. I felt terrible but made I didn’t leave a mess. He was super kind and made sure I was able to take care of myself. I’m definitely super thankful to have a local Bartell’s still near me that cares about people.

Edit: A month later and we are still dealing with the same kinds of issues. Asked for a refill 2 days ago in person at the store, the next day I got a text telling me that my medication was on back order. Why didn’t anyone tell me this when I was standing there? Why wait almost 24 hours to tell me? Today I tried to call to see if they had received the back order but of course nobody answered the phone, so I had to come to the store after work and stand in line to find out that it’s still on back order. The pharmacist actually argued with me when I told him that I tried to call but didn’t get an answer! Now I am out of medication, cannot transfer this prescription and my doctors office is closed until tomorrow. The back order is not the fault of the pharmacy; the way they handle it is. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!The absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever had to use. Long lines to pick up prescriptions, no answer on the phone when you need to talk to someone, no return call when you leave a voicemail, prescriptions aren’t done even after you get a text to say that they are and staff are outright rude when you complain to them. I would not recommend them to anyone and will be transferring my prescriptions to another company pharmacy as soon as I possibly can.

The pharmacist started yelling at me telling me in front of customers that this months was last month he will fill my prescription that I can no longer get the rx discount. Was very rude and told me I no longer aloud to fill with them. Simply because my medication required a prior authorization I paid for several months in a row they had no problem. Then all of a sudden I couldn't pay cash my prescription was 2 days over due. I was upset for months this prior authorization was being done by them supposedly. So I told him I canceled my insurance just to get it he was humiliating me in front of a whole store full of people then made me sign a piece of paper I didn't understand telling me he is turning me into the state and my doctor never let me read it or finish filling it out he started filling it our as soon as he told me to sign it he took and started filling the rest out. I've been on this medication since 2012 its not something you can just miss and be ok with out it. So I guess I havd to find a new pharmacy I've Bern with rite aid since 2009 I switched here because they said they were the same I've never had any pharmacy act like him ever. I wasn't being rude or anything. The lady working the register looked embarassed for him. He was the again guy who works there the other guy is nice. Is always helpful. But I'm done ill he broke hipa laws he could have asked me into the confidentiality room and talked to my not humiliate me in front of 20 people.
