Called 3 times over the previous month trying to get a delivery on the schedule and was told repeatedly it was too early to schedule. The third time I asked specifically what day to call for a Saturday morning delivery and was told Thursday because that's when they do their scheduling. Called Thursday and they didn't have a spot open for delivery until Saturday afternoon because people had been scheduling all week already! I am not happy about the inconsistent messaging being given by employees. We'll see how their delivery service is.

Great rates and knowledgeable people. Only giving four stars because three times now they have closed 10-20 minutes before the posted times. I'm generally very forgiving and I still have not decided to go to another place because I truly think they are great. But please adjust your posted hours if you are not going to be open when you say you are.

I've purchased gravel and ground asphalt for my driveway at Girard and occasionally dropped off small loads of residential yard waste. I have found their staff to be helpful and courteous and will continue to do business with them.

If you want to make a nice landfill of plastic, rubber and glass with topsoil use Girard in Snohomish, WA. I've purchased gravel of different sorts but this is the first time I've purchased Top Soil from them. I keep seeing broken glass clear and blue, as well as clear and white plastic, what appears to be plastic labels and rubber bits and line. When you buy top soil you expect nice fertile clean soil to place in areas for planting seed or flower beds. You expect to safely manipulate by hand around new flowers and not be cut. I basically bought yards of someone else's garbage mixed with soil.

Huge disappointment, ordered the lawn mix from Girard and they delivered a load so filled with sticks and rocks I can't use it. I sent pictures of the pile and they will not admit they delivered the wrong product. Now I have to pay another company to pick their dirt up.

everyone that works there is pretty awesome !good down to earth dudes old school dirt worx and the ladies "sky and new girl" have no problem getting in the loader and hooking it up ! they always square away the local regulars and are friendly, its easy to walk in stupid and confused about the material choices because they are helpful and friendly but you will leave a little dirty ?chris MnM services
