My dog Zuko is a three year old American Akita who was enrolled in Ms. Jee’s behavior modification/ aggression rehab. Zuko’s a proud dog who was not friendly to both human and dog strangers. As a family this made us struggle to figure out how to properly train him and handle his aggressive behavior. When looking for a trainer for Zuko we knew from our first interaction with Ms. Jee that she was the right trainer for him. Ms. Jee was very professional and thorough with Zuko’s training and our training as well. The quality of her lessons and training can be seen on how Zuko behaves today. From a dog that would bark and jump at anything he laid eyes on, to a dog that we were able to walk with other dogs by the last session is just a testament of the ability Ms. Jee has as a trainer. Our experience overall has been excellent and we hope to continue to work with Ms. Jee in the future.

My dog Gaia is a 3 year old Husky mix who had some awful aggression issues stemming from a lack of confidence in herself. I spoke with Miss Jee and we decided the aggression rehab program would be the best course of action. I was a bit worried about sending my dog to what I thought was doggie boot camp but I have to say its far more than that. It's doggie and owner boot camp. Miss Jee will work you just as hard to ensure you fully understand and are willing to do the work for your dogs mental health. It worked wonders. Gaia is more confident in both me and herself now. Miss Jee not only taught my dog to trust herself but she also taught me to communicate with my dog far better. Miss Jee was in constant communication with me about anything regarding my dog and her progress. Im happy to say my dog is reformed and is able to enjoy life with me again on hikes, or to restaurants and bars. She likes car rides now and can walk past other dogs and people without her reacting. This dog used to drag me and dislocate my shoulders trying to eat everything that moved. And now thanks to Miss Jee and her trainers at Mindful Adventure Dog Academy the beast is tamed! It's 100% worth the investment. This is peace of mind.

I feel very fortunate to have received Jee's name from a friend as the training that we have done with our yellow lab puppy has been a game changer. He did the two week train and board program and then we have in-home private sessions and our puppy is so well behaved, walks on the leash so well, and has the best manners around people. He was a little out of control before the two week program and is now such a joy to have in the house and in public. I highly recommend Jee and her program.

I absolutely cannot imagine what I would do without Jee and her crew at Mindful Adventure Dog ❤️ They have been the most wonderful people to work with, very communicative and ready to teach dogs and owners new things. My wife and I use their services whenever we can. The pups love to see them and it is ALWAYS so cute to see our little ones on Instagram!

I would NEVER recommend that folks go to Miss Jee for dog training especially if you have a small dog. We went to her based on great reviews and signed up our pup for a 6-week boarding school program. I was nervous to be without him for that long but trusted the reviews. However, that was a big mistake, our 12lb shih tzu came back with one eye, two missing teeth, two pounds lighter, and many sores and bruises throughout his body. He did not finish the program and Miss Jee refused to provide us with a full refund. For more details see photos and read below. I should mention this happened back in May, but it took me a while to be able to get the energy to write this review. I removed Webster from her care and he was not able to complete the program when he had to have surgery to remove his eye. It's unclear how he suffered the initial damage to his eye and the story I was told has changed. At first I got a call from Jee and was told that his eye was "watery" the day before and that he was flinching when they got near him that morning and she asked if I wanted her to take him to the vet I said yes. At my request, she told me she would send photos, but did not do so until later. After talking to the vet, I learned that the vet was told his eye was having "discharge" since the week before. When I told Jee that the vet was told something different Jee said someone else took Web to the vet (not Jee as I was told) and she didn't know why they said that. She then went back to her initial story but added that his eye was crusted shut on the morning she called me, and that she didn't know how this happened. I requested photos again and then changed communication to text to have it documented. She sent me a photo of his eye after they cleaned it where you see a lump in it. She also sent me a photo of him from the previous week where I could visibly see something was up with his eye and asked her why she didn't call me then. She then said they noticed his eye was "gunky" but didn't think twice about it until he was flinching the morning she called me. It's unclear how it happened, but the vet said his eye had ruptured and there was no way to save the eye and recommended immediate removal. After this I did not want her near my dog and went to pick him up from the vet after his surgery. Once I picked up Webster from the vet I immediately noticed that I could feel his ribs and spine, based on the documents from the vet Webster went from 12lbs to 10lbs under her care - losing 20% of his body weight. When I got home, after bathing him I also found many bruises and sores throughout his body and neck. This was the second major incident with Miss Jee, previously he lost two teeth under her care and I was not told about until he had a grooming appointment where I was to meet them in person and also see the progress of his training. She said that he self-mutilated after they changed his crate for cleaning. Even this story had changed over time and I will not get into the details, but I mistakenly trusted what she said and kept him under her care after seeing that he was making progress from the training. What I failed to see when she was showing me his progress is that she had a collar on him that causes shocks to his neck because it was covered by his hair which likely caused the sores on his neck reference above. I believe that Miss Jee neglected my dog, did not feed him all his meals, and abused my dog. Had she called me sooner I believe it's possible that his eye could have been saved. After all this I requested she pay all his medical expenses and that we get a full refund back given that I also had to cancel a family vacation to be home to care for him post-surgery and that any training he received was compromised - none of the training he had worked once he was at home. At first, she agreed to only pay his medical expenses given that this happened under her care and said "no refunds" and that she would credit our remaining balance with in-home training - which I

Jee knows exactly what she’s doing. If your dog is having difficulty adjusting to your home, Jee has the solution. She and her brother, Deug, helped us properly integrate our brand new biting, barking, and highly reactive 3-month-old Goldendoodle puppy and trained him to be a loving and respectful member of our family. We couldn’t be happier. If you need help with your pup, Jee’s the one who can do it.

Jee and Deug saved our family. We've had rescue dogs all of our lives and thought we knew what we were doing until we got our first Goldendoodle puppy. After 3 weeks of waking up every 2-3 hours, we were ready to throw in the towel. We reached out to Jee, who recommended we leave our precious pup with her for a month. A month? No way, we thought, but after a video consult with her, we decided to trust her. It was the best decision we could have made. It's now been a month since our puppy's return, and we still cannot believe the change. Jee and her brother, Deug, are miracle workers. Our puppy sleeps, listens to commands, and if we ever have a problem, Jee and Deug are right there with a solution. We are so grateful for their intervention and cannot imagine our lives without them. If you're looking for a loving pet to be a part of your family, Jee and Deug can make that happen.

Jee and her brother Deug-Min saved our boy Oliver and our sanity. He was getting more and more aggressive towards our older dog, and was showing the same tendencies towards kids. We just welcomed our newborn daughter and had accepted that he'd probably need to find a new home. This was absolutely heartbreaking, but we had tried other trainers and not made any progress. After 4 weeks with Auntie Jee he is a new man! He controls his impulses, he is WAY more relaxed, he is well mannered and listens. I also need to stress that he is still the same loving, playful and sweet boy. Just a better version. If we ever get another puppy, they'll be heading over to meet Auntie Jee! This level of training isn't cheap, but it was worth every penny to keep Oliver in our family. ❤Now, after a few months home from training, Oliver is our baby girl's favorite dog. When she's upset, we call Ollie over and she calms down and is instantly smiling.

Working with Miss Jee has really helped us with our two rescues. Our first rescue was very excitable and was always “door dashing” and had a hard time settling down. When we got our second dog, who was full of energy, the house was chaos. Having company was a bit of a nightmare with their energy and both dogs trying to get attention, jumping and whatnot. Working with Miss Jee and learning how to properly train use tools has really helped the dogs learn to relax and be more enjoyable socially, not to mention easy to walk together. We get compliments on their behavior almost every time we go out or someone comes over

11/1/2019I adopted a puppy, who over the course of the first year of her life developed serious anxiety/fear issues. Some dogs with these issues will become aggressive. Luckily, mine did not. However, she was a flight risk. Anytime something made her nervous or scared, she wanted to run. Additionally, she is fearful of men. This dog has never been abused a day in her life, by anyone. Some people have the misconception that when an animal is fearful or shy it's because they were abused. Miss Jee will provide you with some knowledge transfer that dispels that myth. I knew I wanted a better life for me and my dog so I reached out to Miss Jee and signed Brinkley up for her 6 week Board and Train Program. It is amazing to everyone what a difference this has made. Miss Jee used Brinkley's propensity to run as a reward. Yes, you heard that correctly. Miss Jee would have Brinkley in a place command next to something really noisy, like a leaf blower. As soon as Brinkley made eye contact (referred to as "checking in") with her, she immediately removed her from the loud leaf blower, which is seen as a reward by the dog. Essentially, teaching the dog to trust the handler. The purpose of the "Check In" is for the dog to look to you to take care of the situation or look to you for direction. During the stay with Miss Jee also worked on Brinkley's confidence. This is done by jumping on a park bench for instance. For a fearful dog, this is a huge accomplishment. Miss Jee taught Brinkley how to just drop to the ground when a noise startled her. She was taught to walk off lease. She was taught to go into her crate and lay down and to ignore what's going on around her. She is also e collar trained, which is a great tool when used properly. Before Miss Jee, I would try to soothe Brinkley when she was afraid. I found out that was the worst thing I could do. The dog's personality will never change. What has changed is Brinkley has been taught coping mechanisms, gained confidence in herself and me. I continue to work with Brinkley everyday to keep reinforcing the good things she learned with Miss Jee. I also participate in pack walks with like minded owners. You are who you hang with applies to dogs too! If you have a shy/fearful/anxious dog, please reach out to Miss Jee for help. She is amazing

I don't think words can do Miss Jee's Academy justice. Everyone has a ton of respect for her and her results are unbeatable. Life changing even.

My Big Guy and I LOVE being a part of this Tribe. I was mistaken thinking training was a One and done. Prior to getting a Large Breed I did my homework. I had been researching breeds for over a year. I knew, or thought I knew what to do and expect. I got my Cane Corso and started training him from the start. At 6 months I took him to board and train for a 2 week training. When I arrived with him, he was well behaved. Not your usual, pull on the leash out of control sight. Since I had researched for over a year prior to adding this guy to my life, I knew I would take the Balance Training approach. I have other dogs that have been trained on the Purely Positive approach and while now at the ages of 7-14 @ home they listen fairly well I could NEVER allow them the freedom that my Balanced Trained Corso can experience. Miss Jee has helped me TREMENDOUSLY with Socializing and holding my Big Guy accountable. I send my Guy, Giovanni, to her regularly. She exposes him to real life situations that I could not or would not feel comfortable doing alone. Being a part of her Tribe means I am holding to my commitment of bringing this Guy into my life. I could NOT do this alone---even with all the research I did prior. I feel that my guy is a part of the family and with the continued help of Jee we are seeing to it that Our Big Guy knows how to represent. We love being BadAss Tribe members and hanging with like minded people. True dog lovers.. Train your dogs, become a part of our Tribe. Gio and I love it!!
