“I stayed here for a ski weekend in Jan 2025. It’s definitely not a fancy hotel but we had a lovely, comfortable laidback time. The attached restaurant is pretty tasty and has big portions.

I was really happy with the experience and service — felt like a great value to walk to the ski resort. The chair in the room had some small stains but I barely noticed.

I have no idea what is going on with the reviews. I can see 3 or 4 stars if you were expecting luxury and got an unpleasant surprise but I’m really shocked by the difference in experiences. I guess I’m glad my husband planned the trip because I would have been scared off by the reviews!”
