Ulta is rarely empty regardless of the day/time. I like this location. It’s not as busy as some of the other locations. I’m not asked every 5 seconds if I need help and I can shop in peace. Prices are affordable, always a good selection of products and I like the curbside pickup option.

Got a notice my order was ready for pick up, headed up from orting. Got to the store and was told I need to show ID. I have a picture of my drivers license and passport but she stated that would not work. This says show the barcode and pick up.
I just wasted gas to have to turn around and go home empty handed.
I get that it isn’t the end of the world, but the tone of the woman was far from friendly and the whole experience which is supposed to be super convenient became very inconvenient.
Not to mention the amount of time I had to wait for anyone to help or acknowledge I was waiting at the pick up spot.

I never ever write a review but after tonight Its absolutely the bare minimum I can at least do…. Personally It’s been a rough year esp rough couple months… zero self care & my hair paid the price.
I last minute booked the last hair appt of the night for a haircut… & I showed up with probably worst birds nest of the year, hopeless, embarrassed & told her to chop it all off if you have too…. CHIVON told me nope…sit down & we’re doing this. SHE STRAIGHT UP WORKED HER MAGIC. MARIA STEPPED IN & helped. And they just tag teamed my matted hair…. I wanted to cry my eyes out. Months worth of stress was lifted off my shoulders.
They got it done in a hour.
NOT only put the elbow grease in to comb out my hair but thank you chivon for even washing, cutting & braiding my hair till close.
I can’t thank you enough….
I know any other place would turn me down or tell me my only option is to cut it.
Thank you for not giving up or turning me away.
I’ll never forget.
To all the burnt out mamas out there…. MUST RECOMMEND. My new go to.
….also for the rest of the team tonight that showed so much kindness & patience even when it was pretty much closed helping me grab last min stuff & checkout!

Just got my hair done today by Mrs. Robbie and she was the best person to cut my hair! I’ve had long hair for my entire life and don’t trust people easily and in my past have been let down more times than I can count. But with Mrs. Robbie, she listened to me and kept asking me questions to ensure that she is meeting my hair goal and was such a blast to have as my stylist. Thank you for our time today and for being so delicate and explaining your entire process for my comfortability AND making my hair absolutely perfect! Cant wait to see you again❤️

I came here to purchase some mascara that had a butterfly wand. I don't really know makeup well other than E.L.F. brand. I was greeted up on entering and asked if I had any questions. I did. I explained the type of mascara that I had mentioned and she found me what I wanted and more. She directed me to Lashtopia brand. They were having a buy one get one free. I absolutely LOVE this mascara and I'm grateful because I was only going to buy the one mascara but she explained they were having a sale. If you spent x amount you get one free. I walked out with 2 mascaras in tow. I have never been more satisfied in my life. Super nice of the staff to be so helpful

Two things. First off, I got the best customer service and product help from Alyssa B. The three products that she recommended were absolutely spot on and she even knew the ingredients that were in them before picking them up!!!
The second thing though, reign in the whispering gossip at the checkout counter from other employees. It’s really off putting to customers. I don’t know who they were talking about .. employee, customer, not sure? - but it’s not a good look.

terrible terrible experience every time. they do not take no for an answer when i tell them i don’t have a phone number nor do i want one with them and when they finally get that im serious they’re very passive aggressive and rude

A quick stop at Ulta, 16908 Meridian E in South Hill, WA, was fantastic. My daughter was looking for a new lip liner and matching lip oil. The associate who helped us, Michelle, was knowledgeable and friendly. She was persistent in her search for just the right shades to compliment my daughter's skintone and ginger hair.
