“Over three years ago my left ankle was hurting. I was limping for 2 weeks. A MRI determined the pain was coming from an old ankle injury. I strained the ligaments playing football in my youth. Brooke suggested Prolotherapy. I never heard of it so she spent some time explaining what it is and how it works. It sounded strange to me and to be honest the little voice in the back of my head was saying “What is this voodoo?” I was desperate so I gave it a try. It was a course of 3 injections and within a week of the first injection the pain and limp improved. Three years later the ankle still feels great with no restrictions.
November of 2023 an MRI showed I tore my meniscus in my left knee and also exposed a lot of arthritis. My mind automatically went to “ I’m going to need another surgery”. My gym Trainer said there are more options than surgery and suggested I go see Brooke again. Brooke suggested PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Injections. It was another series of 3 injections spread out over
2- 3 weeks. Brooke said I should feel better 1- 2 months after the last injection and that the therapy should continue to heal for a year. It’s been 2 months after the last injection and I’m back in Spin Class and riding my bike. I’m thrilled that I avoided another surgery. I asked Brooke to tell me some jokes to distract me from the needles. The injections were not that bad thanks to Brooke’s corny jokes which were much more painful. Ha Ha!
Stay out of the OR and visit P3 for an alternative healing!

“This review is specifically only for the Multicare Northwest Laboratories inside this location of Multicare Clinic in Lakewood. The good thing about Northwest Laboratories is that they're part of MultiCare and the results is uploaded on MyChart. Another good thing is that you dont need appointment to get your labs done.
Here is the downside, and this is not just for this location but most of Northwest Laboratories. Be prepared to wait like you're at the DMV. Everyone comes here for lab, including the patients that come out of this clinic after their appointment (this one houses Mary Bridge Children's hospital clinic and Multicare Family Practice in same building). So just pack your patience.
First things first: like all other Northwest Laboratories, you gotta fill out one of those Blue slips upon arrival, no questions asked. The faster you fill that out, the quicker you will be seen. Its actually crowded in early morning because people want to get their blood drawn and break their fasting asap, but afternoons are just as crowded.
The staff are actually pretty kind and the lab staff are very knowledgeable and professional. Some labs can take a while to get your results but this one is very quick in my experience, coming from a person who has lab tests every 2 months for past 20 years.
This location is smaller than the Pearl street (Tacoma) location but they are located in less busier commercial mall so I like it here for that, and quicker results. Lab staff probably are some of best I've experienced with!
Lastly if you're Overlake Medical Center (Bellevue), its also a plus because Overlake is now owned by Multicare and everything on MyChart is easy peasy.”

“The check in process may be daunting to some, but it is pretty user friendly. I like that you can make an appointment and the girl there is good at her job. She was there by herself and by the time I left, the waiting room was full of people. I think she's doing a good job handling it all solo. Plus, she didn't hurt me or leave a bruise.”

“Pros:
• easy to book an appointment online ahead of time. Plenty of slots open to choose from.
• easy to get to the building.
• parking was easy - abundant.
• suite was very clean and looked newly updated
• fast and easy check in.
• quick wait time.
• phlebotomist was super friendly and skilled. She checked in with me before and after to make sure I felt ok before starting and ok before leaving.
• results were processed in a timely manner and easy to review online.
Cons:
• if I hadn’t researched this location prior to visiting, I would have been confused where it was. It’s inside the hospital.
• not a ton of signage to find the suite.”
