*see edit and response to owner at bottom*Im leaving 2 stars just because we have never had an issue up to this point. I went to drop off my small dog to be groomed (after waiting 2-3 weeks for this appt) and the owner went to grab my dog right out of my arms. She startled her, and my dog, who has NEVER bitten anyone and they even admitted that they have never had an issue with her, snapped at her and barely got her hand. I was then told that my dog was never welcomed back. Im sorry…what??? YOU mishandled my dog and now shes the one to blame? “It’s not normal behavior” is what I was told when I asked to schedule for another day. So I called our previous groomers who we left due to location, and explained this situation. I was told, “why would they just grab her from you?”…”any dog who gets startled like that, even the sweetest have the potential to nip or snap. Saying it’s not normal behavior is a stretch”. To not be given a second chance on a different day is unprofessional and to act like you weren’t equally at fault is ridiculous. When you admit you have never had an issue with my dog but ban her anyway is so extreme. If your dog has any anxiety at the groomers, do not go here. They will make it seem like your dog is a ravenous monster.In response to unprofessional response by owner:My immediate reaction was “omg im so sorry are you ok?”… and your ADULT daughter should never grab a dog from behind from an owners arms. We took our dog to a new groomer today without any issues. The fact that you dont take any responsibility for mishandling a dog, which is an honest mistake, is unprofessional. To make me sound like a jerk is off base, and again lacking any sort of responsibility on your end. My dog didnt attack your ADULT daughter in any way. Your ADULT daughter startled her from behind… ANY dog would nip. I was warned about your attitude, rude customer service and inability to groom within a reasonable time (8 hours each session to be exact). Seems like everyone was right. Good luck with your business. Conducting it in this manner will cost you more than you think, and ultimately end negatively. 2 stars to 1 for response and trying to make things all my fault. If my dog had a series of sessions with issues or had a history, I could understand this kind of response. I’ve seen this type of response from you on every review where a customer had an issue. Instead of learning from it and improving, you seem to be defensive and obtuse.You refuse to see your part in anything. Its not a good look. Its ok to be wrong, and its ok to mess up here or there. Instead of responding immaturely, own it, learn from it, and move on.Have a great day and hope your life is blessed. ✌?EDIT TO MY REVIEW:Im being serious, if you want professionalism, timely services, and nice staff do not come here. This place is a pathetic joke of people who think they are dog trainers when they are subpar groomers.Actually the owners aren’t even licensed groomers I found out lol.

Awesome place! Took my 5 1/2 year old daushund here to get her nails trimmed and she loved it! The groomer (Jason I think) was gentle w her and very understanding of my situation. Would totally reccomend ?

We recently took our dog Zelda here for the first time, and we were super impressed with how good she looked! She has never looked this good in all her years of going to a big store groomer (you know), and they treated her like family. Needless to say we will definitely be going back!

Woofers was awesome. They groomed my dog very long overgrown nails in about 10 minutes. My now lives on the east side of Tacoma, however the 25-minute drive is totally worth it. They were great ❣️

I brought my German Shepherd/husky mix here, and this place was seriously wonderful to my dog. Their prices were extremely fair and my dog looked amazing at the end of the appointment. He’s even itched less since I brought him home. so thankful for the kindness and reassurance when I dropped him off as this was his first grooming appointment. I definitely will be a repeat customer.

This store has a good selection of toys and food for your pets. Staff are great to work with, easy going and polite. They are great with your dogs.
