Oh my goodness!!! The people who run this place are so sweet! They know so much about orchestral instruments and helped me find good strings and a brand new bow. I recommend this place hundred times over for string instruments!

This is the best stringed instrument repair shop I have ever been to. Humble and kind people, but knowledgeable to the max. My daughter spent time shadowing here and enjoyed it immensely! Great local place!

The staff was amazing and friendly! They cleaned up a very low end peice of mine, restrung it and warned me of possible issues I might run into . They were extremely kind and charged such a small amount for the work they did. I will definitely continue going to this business! Also the dogs are very sweet and playful❤

Wonderful experiences here. Jay helped my son find a viola that sounded the way he liked the best, irregardless of price. I’ve always had great experiences purchasing strings or other supplies here for myself as well. The two shop dogs are a bonus - I always love to see them!!

I had a violin that I needed looked at to see if any repairs had to be done although there are issues that will need to be addressed in the future he is willing to look at it, at no charge, every couple months to let us know when it is time to fix it. He was very helpful and knowledgeable in how to care for the violin. also very friendly staff. I would highly recommend them

I just recently started playing violin. As someone in their late thirties I was impressed that the owners here not only gave me a bunch of needed info but also didn't overwhelm me with info. He was happy to supply more on anything I found interesting and helped me get a great instrument with a case for a very reasonable price. If you play a stringed instrument then this is the place to go.

Terrible job, when I came in Tuesday and asked for a new bridge, new tailpiece, and a polish he said it will be done on Saturday. I came in on Saturday at 4, when they close, and still waited for an hour for him to finish my violin. I would not complain if he actually did a good job, my bridge was cut backwards, it was crooked, the tailpiece was not properly adjusted, and he did a terrible job of cleaning and polishing my instrument. My suggestion to you: go to violin works. Yes it is hard to get hold of the owner, but he will do a much better job, cheaper and faster. Never will do business with custom strings again.
