Michael communicates clearly with what needs to be done, the timeframe it takes, and the cost to the penny. Very wonderful and easy to work with Davis Diesel, and the work they do is really good. Moved from California 4 years ago, where I had a most wonderful relationship with my mechanic, and Michael and staff have filled that in Spokane Valley with spades.

Tim, Michael and the staff were amazing. I walked in after Dishman Dodge refused to work on my 2007 Dodge Ram 2500. Tim accepted my truck and repair without hesitation. My issue was diagnosed, repaired and I left with a high level of confidence. Pricing and time frame was very reasonable. I highly recommend this facility for your diesel repairs.

Although they were seemingly courteous and kind, I got a quote that was extremely high. I looked online and called another mechanic and learned that Davis Diesel's price was nearly 3-4 times what it should cost. When I asked what the diagnostic fee was, I was quoted $450!!! Outraged, I asked them if they took apart my vehicle to do the diagnostic. The courteous facade dropped and the employee told me to come get my vehicle and that they would not be taking me as a customer. I immediately retrieved my vehicle and got the work done at another shop that day for the more reasonable price that was expected. Do NOT get any work done here!

I highly recommend going somewhere else if the problem is a simple fix. They will take your money no matter how simple the problem is. They charged $372 for labor cost to tell me there was nothing wrong with my vehicle when they told me over the phone that I immediately should come in to fix it. Just for them to tell me nothing was wrong.

The guys at Davis diesel are cool guys. I took my truck to them and as we got to talking i found out that i have quite a bit in common with them. They gave me some excellent advice on keeping my truck running good and their just cool guy's and they do excellent work and are very knowledgeable. From now on i will only take my truck to Davis diesel.

Extremely over priced. They quoted $1800 to change 8 glow plugs and both wire harnesses.. northwest diesel quoted $900 and hurricane diesel quoted $1050 for the same job.. quotes included factory oem parts.. always get multiple quotes or you could get ripped off by Davis diesel..

UPDATE: I just went and checked my oil level and it was all but empty. Come to find out my oil pan drain plug was not tight and leaked all my oil out from this outrageously priced oil change. Changing to 1 star and would highly not recommend going to this place!!Pros: Friendly staff. They did squeez us in during their busy schedule which was appreciated.Cons: Insanely expensive! I had my fan clutch replaced in Vancouver Washington for $150. Davis Diesel changed $290. Our synthetic oil change for a 7.3l powerstroke was well over $300. I have never paid more then $200 for an oil change for this vehicle.Our service was coolant flush, oil change, and replace the fan clutch (I provided the part) and our bill was almost $1100.
