I've loved this gym because of the strength I've managed to build in two months of only Saturday classes. I'm challenged to build strength and motivated by Xavier (the trainer) when my face says that I might want to quit.
I appreciate that every new person gets welcomed in and everyone putting in the hard work is going to cheer you on. Workouts are designed to challenge and strengthen - and guidance is given to help you prevent injury.
Now I'm making the drive during the week, and I love knowing that after a difficult day at work, I can show up here for a little bit of joy!
For people looking for more specifics on the gym itself, it's a large space with a lot of racks, free weights, dumbbells, kettle bells, weighted balls, and an array of cardio machines. And sleds. They have classes for adults - where they can provide modifications based on your injuries, conditions, or abilities. Many pregnant women are in the classes. They do have Open Gym times as well. They also specialize in student athlete training with a huge focus on building strength and speed while avoiding injury. There is an app to manage your membership and classes that is pretty easy to use.
Not sure if wheelchair access is suitable, there is a curb in front of the building entrance - but it's part of a longer strip mall so I suspect there is a ramp somewhere. Once you are on the curb, the doors are manual open, but the surface is fairly flat.”
“This isn’t my first 5 star review, and I would increase that number if I could, but I wanted to rave more about what APF has to offer. Within the walls of this warm and welcoming space are top notch trainers and so much more. They have added new services to enjoy like the sauna and cold plunge and massage chair with red light therapy and semi private sessions and group classes to name but a few. If you’re looking for a private gym with all the amenities APF is the place to be!!!”

“Pretty fun. Although, they charge $1 per play for the laser maze. So you pay for your entry per person, then you pay for food and drinks when you get hungry, (both of which are acceptable charges). But then, they have an attraction they advertise on the website that doesn’t come with entry. I’m very frustrating and disappointing for those of us who have larger families.”

“Great place! Staff are great, and my son can workout or swim while I workout. Had an issue in the gym where my son couldn’t find a basketball and one of the staff members quickly helped him find one and made his day great… Very impressed. I would give it a 10 out of 10 if I could.”
