We will definitely never ever be returning to HR block, and can not recommend anybody ever go. Nearly every aspect of the entire experience was riddled with unbelievable disappointment. (It's actually a little impressive, and I would find comical if it didn't end up costing me so much money) I couldn't possibly give all the details here, but the bottom line is: communication 0/5, accuracy and quality 0/5, knowledge and professionalism, yep, 0/5. I will be much better off filing taxes online, for free, just like always, with no issues.

I came here with my husband and we are thoroughly disappointed. The “professionals” were not helpful. They didn’t really know why they were doing the things they did. We did not feel like we could get our questions answered. They didn’t tell us how much we would have to pay them for them to do basically nothing that we could have done at home. I was so hopeful they would actually help and explain what what happening as I had to file unemployment cause of COVID. But none of them did. And they gave us different number on what we were getting back and had to pay. For being tax professionals they did a terrible job.

The person doing my taxes was very confusing. He did not listen to the information I had to tell him. I'm not even exactly sure he did my taxes right. It's been a week and a half and I can't even find out if they've been accepted.
