I worked at this day care for 6 months while also having a son enrolled and multiple things are wrong !They've allowed a kid to be harmed and didn't fire the staff member just sent them to there other establishment. They've let kids be touched inappropriately and told parents hours later. management Cheyenne treisis and Naomi bixby they tell staff about kids and parents outside of our classrooms that should be confidential. The rooms are always out of ratio. They allow staff to come to work with strep and pink eye. They have all staff write curriculum the day of while copying from last year's curriculum and not enforcing it. They allowed me to work at this daycare that long with no background check after telling me I was all good who else are they doing this with? They don't send kids home that are sick if there parent works there because they need the staff. My son would stay in diapers longer then he should have. The kids are forced to take naps. Time outs aren't allowed but I've seen multiple kids in time out. They don't do interviews they just hire anybody. They make 1 can of each food when the minimum is 2. They put older kids in younger classrooms and younger kids in older classrooms when there daycare isn't allowed to mix kids. They have younger staff in rooms by there self which is illegal. My son was supposed to move up they kept him in the same class the reasoning wasn't valid. The staff have a 100$ Walmart list every month and none of the classes have ever recieved anything. They scream and yell at kids. They yell at there coworkers in front of everybody. Even private conversations are talked about right in front of other staff. They let people not on the Insurance drive the vans to pick up and drop off. I could keep going but I'm not because it's so much I'm saddened to say I even worked here and allowed this to happen to me for so long. I would not work here or enroll a child here. 0/10 recommend.

I'm not generally someone to leave reviews, but we deeply regret allowing our son to stay in LL's care as long as we did, despite numerous red flags. From "smaller" issues like: not having secured entry, to billing and no flexibility, to our son being completely uncared for as he stood in his classroom doorway crying as we would try to leave (he is an easy going boy so this was VERY out of the norm for him), or to frequently picking him up from daycare in pull ups when he is completely toilet trained. To MUCH bigger issues like his teacher *flicking* him and telling him to "knock it off" during naps (something we found out about through his tears, on the days that I would put him down for naps). Or his teacher not being able to find him during outdoor play, because while the staff was standing around talking, he and four additional toddlers had made their way into a gated and completely unattended storage side yard full of hoses and equipment that they could have been hurt on.Additionally, as many people have already stated in previous reviews: very, very unprofessional and short-tempered behavior from Naomi. While there was staff there that I adored — one bad apple truly will spoil the bunch. He was only in LL’s part-time, so we felt it would be best to keep him there solely for familiarity and routine but as I see the level of safety and security he feels in his new daycare, I realize that was a big, big mistake. My husband used to dread daycare drop offs, because we had never seen our happy-go-lucky, easy-going son so sad (and they will tell you this is normal) — but since his SECOND DAY since enrolling him in his new daycare, our son has hugged us goodbye and walked right to “circle time” not only without tears, but with excitement! He looks forward to going and has told us that his sweet teacher is the best part of his day. He comes home well rested, well behaved, and most importantly HAPPY! (Not to mention, he has never come home in pull ups and has not had ONE single potty accident because his teachers are fully present). The way this daycare cares for our son speaks volumes to how it should have always been — and what he deserved to have at Little Learner’s. It is a night and day difference. If you’re in need of childcare, and are looking for somewhere that will deeply and truly care about your kids and your family, where you will know your babies are safe, secure, cared for, and loved: I highly highly highly recommend Unforgettable Journey’s on Progress Rd.

Little learner is amazing place! Not only for kiddos, but as someone who has worked for this center, I can absolutely vouch that Naomi and all of the staff are amazing, they truly care about the little ones as well as their employees!

just nowNEWMy son was kicked out with NO notice and NO proper paperwork whatsoever. No “sit down”, nothing. Naomi is very unprofessional and rude. Employees don’t stay here long, and it’s pretty obvious why. On several different occasions they would call me at 7am telling me they cannot take my son due to their own staffing issues- which I’ve never heard of a daycare doing. Ever. They have sent my son home early for ridiculous reasons more times that I can count. Not to mention how often my son would come home with bite marks, scratches etc that there was no hurts & hugs report for. And if there was it wouldn’t be presented to me until days later.Super unprofessional and ridiculous “daycare” and I would avoid at all costs. My son went to the mission location, but they’re “ran” by the same woman so. :)

I wish I could give them 0 stars. The only reason they have any 5 star reviews is because they bribe people with target girft cards to give them a great review. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!They call me almost every day because one of my kids has a "fever", I go pick them up, and they are PERFECTLY fine. I am state pay, so they get paid anyway.........so when they don't feel like actually taking care of my kids, they just send them home. Not only this, but they will find any excuse to suspend kids. For weeks at a time......The Manager Naomi likes to tell you how to punish your children if they have a bad day, She also told me that my son is not normal, I am applaud with her. the communication absolutely sucks. My daughter started as an infant, and apparently the hours for the infant classroom differ from the normal hours. NO ONE TOLD me this. I found out after I was charged for "overtime" for her being there. My kids are all unhappy, dirty, and starving when I pick them up. They HATE going. awful place.

I was hesitant about putting my children into childcare. I had interviewed about 7 other childcare centers before I found Little Learners. During the walk through they made me feel very welcome and answered any questions and concerns I may have had. My two youngest children have been attending Little Learners since December of 2022 and have Welcomed my oldest son who is special needs with open arms for the summer with no issues what’s so ever. They are very passionate about they care they provide and have worked with my changing work schedule. My daughter was enrolled into a preschool program with district 81 and Little Learners loved having my daughter when she would attended here as well for their preschool program. When her situation changed they welcomed her full time with no issues. There has been so much growth in all my children since attending. They love the staff and their friends here at Little Learners.

My children had never been in daycare before attending Little Learner. Naturally, I was a little nervous about leaving them in the care of someone other than a family member. Littler Learner has eased my worries!Every staff member is always professional and friendly. I also appreciate how clearly their policies are outlined. It is clear they are passionate about early childhood education, as well as, the safety, happiness, and success of my children.

I would give this place a zero star if possible. The most unprofessional and most unorganized daycare iv experienced. Tried updating my phone number with them never got done. I would make early payments for the following month and would never get put in correctly and would try to charge twice a month. Filled out my daughter's field trip form and didn't get filed correctly. They have high school kids working that have no idea what they are doing. And the staff has zero communication with each other. They are all short tempered and have zero professionalism. I would not recommend littler learners for a child care.
