NEVER use Pods. Period. Our experience has been horrible and is ongoing despite having completed our move last month. The company overall is set up so there is never any accountability. I was just told by and employee they cannot give an employee ID number or anything identifying other than their first name. It is done purposefully so you are not able to talk to the same person twice and attempts to speak with supervisors have gotten us nowhere. Below are the list of issues we have had and I am not exaggerating when I say this isn't an extensive list. 1. We were told they would deliver to our house then later they refused saying it was icy. It was not, my brother who is not a professional driver had just backed an empty 26ft uhaul up the driveway with no issues. Their refusal caused us a delay in when we left plus several thousands of dollars more in expenses (uhaul rentals, a second full day of labor, gas, motel rooms because we had to stay longer to unload the uhaul into the Pod at their center). 2. We were told verbally there was 10k in insurance for property damage. However when you read the contract it is 5k per Pod. Even with that, we have not been able to get them to pay out anything and every single piece of our furniture has been scratched or damaged. one tv stand the top is coming off of it, a lamp was completely ruined, repairs had to be done to both the washer and dryer before they could be used, refinishing of one item is costing us $400. The reality is 5k wouldn't replace it all but it appears like we will get nothing. We filed the forms for an investigation and were never contacted by the investigator. I have photo proof of all the damages but no one will get back to us. We simply received an email saying the claim was denied. 3. Lost Pod, we had in a cross country move. We had so many issues with them prior that two days before they were supposed to deliver to our new home I called and was told there were only two. The third one was canceled. This third Pod has been an issue over and over. It did get delivered but that was due to the work of the driver who was familiar with these type of issues and said they happen all the time. I had the number of the Pod so he was able to find it at the warehouse. Same thing happened with pick-up. It wasn't assigned to us so they weren't going to pick it up. 4. Our Pods were picked up and we thought we were done with them completely on 12/23/22. I just found charges for the month of Jan-Feb of 2023. Over $500 worth of charges. Their website is set up so that you CANNOT remove your credit card from their system. I tried it the middle of December because I was afraid of this happening. 5. Customer service: overall the people were kind and doing the best they could within a crappy company however we were hung up on three times by employees. And as mentioned previously supervisors are not responsive. They are not returning phone calls or emails.

This was our third move with PODS but it'll definitely be our last. We were moving across the country with 3 PODS. We were already in transit across the country when PODS was supposed to pick up our last POD. They called us and said they were ready to deliver the empty POD. We explained that we didn't need an empty POD that they were supposed to be picking up a full one. Neighbors confirmed that the POD was gone. Fast forward a couple of weeks when it was time to deliver the PODS to our new address and 2 PODS were delivered. We inquire about the whereabouts of the 3rd POD and are told it's ready to be dropped off to be loaded. Again we tell them it's already been loaded and should be all the way across the country by now. We are then told to please give them a week to find it. Seriously! After many phone calls we are told our POD is still all the way across the country and will take 10 days to get here. 10 days we have to go without the last things we packed- all of our essentials needed to work from home and start living in our new house. To make matters worse, they can only pick up 1 POD from our new house in a timely manner resulting in a fine from our HOA. When we addressed these issues with PODS, they said they would do something to help make-up for the situation but haven't responded since then. This is not the way to treat any customer, especially a repeat customer. We are so disappointed and frustrated with PODS.

Used Pods to move from California to Idaho. They were originally scheduled to deliver on 4/22. They called and rescheduled to 4/23 because they wouldn't be in town in time. So here we are on 4/23, never received a delivery window. Have called multiple times and no one can help. They keep calling the storage place who won't answer. The system hasn't been updated with our delivery window. One of the pods says it's still in California on the website so now we don't even know if it's lost. We're about to start new jobs which I need what's in the pods for it. We have no beds. No furniture. Nothing. And pods won't give us a straight answer. Tomorrow is Sunday in which they're closed so the soonest we can probably get now is Monday, if they are even here. Terrible customer service. You can't even get hold of someone local to tell you what's going on. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. find something else.

We booked one month, and had them move the pod back and forth between Spokane & Deer Park several times within the month. Their drivers were always very courteous and booking our dates (had to reschedule a couple times) was always easy. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

Don't use this company!! My personal belongings are being held hostage and I continue to be charged monthly for storage fees!! The individuals at the locations may be great but you can't get in touch with them. Details below. We chose them because they said they could deliver to our final destination, but could only confirm that AFTER it was at the Spokane storage location since it is ultimately up to them. Since living here we have SEEN a pod delivery in a driveway in town. The customer service rep said that there is usually no problem with the size we chose. We paid for the final destination and 7 months of storage. In April when we were trying to schedule delivery, we called 3 times with promises of phone calls within 3 business days. Never received a return call. I tried again and told the rep I was committed to calling them back on the 4th day if I heard nothing. Shockingly I heard nothing and had to call. When I did, magically an email was sent out just then declining our destination request. I asked to escalate to a supervisor. They responded by talking with the rep-- not me. Basically said too bad. They already took well over $3000 plus 3 additional months of storage costs-- $600+ and my only choice is to pay an additional moving company to get it all. Fine with me to use someone else since this company isn't trustworthy-- but PODS should be paying for the delivery OR giving some of my money back. Since I can't get in touch with the actual location nor with any supervisor to negotiate my situation our only recourse is legal involvement. Stupid stupid company. It doesn't have to come to this.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They seemed great at first but they quickly went downhill. We spoke to a sales agent for at least an hour explaining our situation and what size would fit best. They recommended a smaller size than we anticipated and assured us that it would be the right fit. When we finally had it delivered (late and in the wrong spot) we opened it to find out that it was much smaller than we were told. They failed to mention that the dimensions were the outside of the POD and it didn't include some of the insulation and other features which took up space making it much smaller. We called immediately letting them know this wasn't going to work and entered a bigger size. They were going to charge us another delivery and pickup and some other fee they tacked on to fix their mistake. Never mind the fact that it wasn't delivered when they said so we were several days behind on our move. We said no thank you come get your POD we will take our business elsewhere. We were told we would get refunded but once it had been picked up they refused. Absolutely ridiculous and the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Don't waste your time. There are other companies who do the same thing and care about their customers.

I live in an apartment complex where everyone goes to work about 8am or later just as most people do in the world. So pods schedules my delivery at 730 to 1030 am and shows up at 730. There is no place to park so I have a 16 foot pod on the other side of the building.The driver told me they often deliver here. My reply was that you should know there will be no parking at this hour. I paid $4000 for such inconvenience. Thanks Pods. Right about the time he has it unloaded some one moves and I ask the guy to move the Pod closer. He says he has to make another delivery and refuses. You can say that I should have called in but you were closed on WEDs and the schedule call did not come to me until the evening before. Yep this is how you work, I understand your rules but they are not geared to help a client. You just pick up the stuff and deliver. No consideration included. It will now cost me extra time for the movers to unload because of the distance. The driver suggested I have them deliver on another day. I have already waited 5 days and would have to pay an upcharge to change the unload date. You can erase this from FB but I will put it other places you cannot erase it

Great Service at a Great Price! With a career in the military, using PODS has been the smoothest and easiest experience I have had out of six moves. Containers arrived on-time and were in brand new condition and they were easy to load. Drivers were able to drop the containers with surgical precision on both the receiving and delivery ends. PODS is a great flexible and modern company with an old-fashion phenomenal customer service. Don't hesitate....call PODS for your next move!

One of the best decisions I ever made was to use PODS to move. I had 2 weeks between the time I left my old house before I could move into the new house. It was simple. They delivered the POD to my old house, I filled it, they took it away and stored it for me and then delivered it to my new house which was in a different state. The drivers were great to work with and the online service was easy to use. I have recommended this service to many people since.
