i bought a used subaru in January from hector and now only 9 months of having the car it starts smoking and i have to pay upwards of 10k for a new engine and 1k for new brake pads. save yourself the trouble and buy from a bigger car lot with integrity and warranties. not worth it.

Don’t buy a vehicle here if you want to be in the repair shop less than a year down the road. Owner is dodging my calls and not replying to me, we bought a Subaru Crosstrek and he assured it us it went through the 60k maintenance and CARFAX was clean, but now we are out a whole engine.

Got a great truck thanks to Hector for the sale! Only wish I spent a little less on it but it's not the dealer it's the market right now

I have done the whole ride around between dealerships in this area, its tiring. Truckland here is a smaller outfit with a great staff. I don't usually write reviews but they impressed me so I kinda felt a need. You will get the price you want if they have a vehicle your interested in, I checked out a couple vehicles. I know I couldn't find my car under that price anywhere, probably not even close. Smaller outfits mean better prices, I just recommend to check them out first. They even did an extra service for me because I had a specific need for it and they went beyond their norm to help me out.

Hector is so nice and helpful. He literally does everything himself. You don’t have to go through multiple people to get your loan. He does it start to finish and 100% wants to get you the best interest rate. He knows the car dealing inside and out. He was great to work with and we will be coming back.

As of today (3-29-21) I went to look at a white 2006 toyota tacoma. The truck appears very nice on the outside, but after digging deeper I discovered that the boot on BOTH cv axles are torn, and 2 fasteners are broke on the top of the grille causing it to move around quite a lot. This generation of tacoma is know for sagging leaf springs, and this one had it. The total cost of parts to fix this is $1100. When I was rudely asked if I have and questions I brought up the issues and was curtly told that they are fine and it doesn't matter because someone will buy it at asking price regardless. I was also told he has a buyer lined up on it out of oregon. If you are this buyer, it's a 17k truck that needs repairs, not a 21k truck that's good to go.

Bought a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sahara $26k @ 118k miles. Be careful buying their Jeeps. Have spent 8k in 8 months on issues. No major off roading or abuse I got it for safe snow driving. They had lifted and put some of the Rough Country Body kit on. Was told it was just different to drive and a little rough compared to what I was used to. Shame on me, should have taken it to someone who knew jeeps. Less that 30 days later I could not drive the vehicle above 25mph with out getting violent wobbles. $3.7k in work to the front end later (struts, suspension, joints), still issues driving above 60mph. YOU NEED SPECIAL ADJUSTABLE FRONT TRACK ARMS AND STEERING KIT WHEN YOU LIFT A JEEP. They neglected to put this on. You have to be able to adjust the canter of the steering arm or you will have major problems driving at high speed with lift and large tires and it will destroy your front end real quick. 3 months after purchase and $1k spent at HAZARD FAB WORKS and it drives like a dime. Now 7 months and ODO @ 124k miles later moved across country and took to a specialist to do a thorough inspection. Old Major exhaust manifold damage needing full rebuild. Not to mention desperate need for power steering and transmission seals replaced. Take their lifted vehicles to Hazard Fab Works and let them inspect them first.

UPDATE January 2020: Unfortunately, I have to rescind my previous 5-star review below. While the people at Truckland made me very comfortable during the car buying experience, I didn't realize that they were not being straightforward with me at the time. I was hurried through car financing paperwork and was asked to sign things as I was being explained what they were for. Although I had said that I did not want the extended warranty on the vehicle, I was sneakily charged the amount (they just automatically figured it into the financing too) and I didn't find out until I looked at my loan amount through Numerica. At first I thought that they hadn't applied my down-payment, then I realized that I was charged almost $4K in vehicle service contract fees. When I finally realized what happened, I called to cancel. While I was told the cancellation and refund would take 60 days, it actually took 4 months. I have still not received any paperwork detailing why I was only refunded a partial amount and how that amount was calculated--even though I have requested it numerous times. I had to call and text Truckland dozens of times because they weren't actively giving me updates. I am incredibly disappointed by this experience. This was my first time purchasing a car and Truckland took advantage of that. If you purchase a car here, do not let them hurry you through the financial information--like lots of time to make sure you are not being charged any extra. While I thought Truckland was different before, I realize now that they are just like any other used car dealership. Aside from the purchasing of the car, they were honest with the car's condition and it was well detailed inside.Original review in July 2019: Requested information on a RAV4 through Car Guru and Dan reached out right away. The car we looked at was in great condition and seemed like it had been recently detailed inside. Dan was very straightforward and easy to work with, and made the car buying experience easy and enjoyable. I would recommend checking out Truckland, even if it isn't a truck that you are looking for. Ask for Dan!

We have purchased 3 trucks total through Truckland. Dan was involved on the first two, and was a pleasure to work with, but Hector on the third truck was the reason we will always come back here. He not only went WAY above and beyond to find EXACTLY what we wanted, but he did it quickly, and kept us updated along the way. I must have driven him nuts with my 10billion texts and emails, but he was always happy to respond and get me the information I needed. Even after our purchase he contacted us to make sure we were still happy (WE ARE!!!) and he even went out of his way to contact a previous owner for the spare key. I can't recommend these guys enough, and we are thrilled with our truck!
