Sprague location, perm closed now* We Bought approximately 900$ worth of furniture today from this store on their fire sale. Prices were awesome, the staff was awesome but the owner...... I don't understand how someone can be completely disrespectful to a person over their own personal issues and stress. The piece of furniture that I purchased yesterday and came to pick up today had some one else's name on it. When I brought it to his attention and was blown off, I found Ken who was the man I worked with the day I bought it and he helped me despite the stress he was under because the store was very short staffed. He instructed me to go up to the front counter and get the list of the items I've already taken and were picking up today from the cashier. The cashier wouldn't personally give it to me which was fine, I completely understand protocol. I followed him and before I could say anything he gave my list to the owner that still had an attitude. When I tried to explain to him what was going on, he seemed very confused. Then I stated that I'd like to work with Ken about the situation. He asked why, I told him it was because I didn't enjoy his vibe and Ken knows of the situation. He must have taken it personal and became offended by my request because when we located Ken. He told Ken that I was not being clear with him. I restated that I'd like to work with Ken about the situation because we already spoke and he knows what was going on. The owner abruptly stated that he was the owner so I'd have to talk to him. The hostility in his voice was unnecessary due to the fact I was still being positive and showing respect despite his lack of towards me and my family. So I explained that the item that I had purchased yesterday had someone else's name on it and I was there to pick it up among other pieces I purchased but had to bring the trailer for. He confirmed the list and the item, we were good to go. He walked away to the cashier station. I spoke to my husband to decrease my heart rate due to the upset from his behavior and walked up to the cashier station where I approached the owner. I stated that I'm sorry for the misunderstanding and for his loss in the store, I told him I understood his stress and hoped for the best for him. He said ok and walked away. I shook it off and proceeded to enjoy the day with my family. Our daughter's picked out a few more things for our new home. During that time My husband and I observed the owner talking down to his staff, walking around unhappy and at one point stated to one of his employees "Everyone thinks they are the only people on the planet". When I was checking out I observed him cashing out an individual, he said Thank you and apologized for the wait to that individual. After his transaction he looked over at his cashier and picked up the slips of the pieces I was purchasing and asked me if the prices had red sold tags on them. I told him they didn't because everyone was busy and I was taking them with us today. Before I finished my sentence, he stated well that's why that bookshelf went into someone else's name as he was walking away shaking his head. I looked at the cashier and asked what else can I do? there's two of them and 30 of us on the floor. The paper tags is what you need for the transaction, personally if I don't see a paper tag, I know someone here has it too buy the item. The cashier just nodded his head and didn't respond. While we were waiting to take our items out, there was a hand truck in my visual. I went to ask the owner of I may use that to start loading my stuff. He was looking at my paperwork and then walked off. My daughter was standing next to me, looked at me and asked why he was being rude. I told her that he was probably just stressed and didn't know how to manage his emotions, but remember no matter how stressed you get in life, that's never an excuse to treat people badly. Adam was very helpful and patient explaining their finance options for purchasing furniture.Unfortunately my couch had a defect, but between Adam and a gentleman from the warehouse named Tennessee my couch was quickly and easily replaced. They even went as as far waiving a delivery fee for retrieving the defective couch and delivering the replacement to my apartment given my work schedule and inability to get help to move the couch.Overall 16 Cents is an honest, excellent place to buy furniture with great staff to support it.

Bought a mattress frame for far too much money. Frame was built in-apartment but put together poorly. Screws popped out and boards split within the first couple of months. Pretty disappointed at the quality of the frame for the price.

I purchased a couch and a dresser from here with $500 dollars down, and the rest was financed through snap financing. Two days after signing paperwork and hauling the furniture home, I received a call stating that the sales person messed up on the paper work and that I needed to pay an additional 500 dollars or they were going to come to my house and take my furniture. I went through my bank statements, the invoice I signed, and my finance agreement, and the totals on each all matched up to the original agreement. After rude interactions with a manager (Dave) I requested that I be transferred to his manager. At that point I received a call from the owner of the company, and was instantly accused of being a "thief", and "dead beat" and a "piece of s***** He could not explain to me where this mysterious 500 dollar charge came from, instead saying that I was financed for 500 dollars less than what I was actually financed for according to my finance records. *Update* 04/21/23I contacted the finance company and from what the case manager says, there is an issue on their end, and I am not responsible for any extra payment. But after the way I was treated by this company and their owner I will never do any type of business here again and I would recommend that you find a better establishment to do business at. The customer is not their priority. Their priority is making you pay for their staffs mistakes.

I gave this place a 5 star rating at first, but 2 of the 3 pieces of living room furniture ripped in less than 6 months of purchasing, and we don't even use the living room much at all....

We truly enjoyed our visit to your store. The two gentlemen who helped us were so friendly, professional and helpful. We ended up making a purchase that same day. We also went back the next day and made another purchase.

Everyone was so kind and caring. Mickey and Ryan were my delivery drivers. They were efficient and careful. They wanted too make sure that everything was where I wanted (I purchased a bedroom set and dining table and chairs). Very nice young men. My whole experience with 16 cents was wonderful.
