My dad and I were dropping off my son at college in Spokane. While heading home to Idaho the serpentine belt on my Sequoia broke at almost closing time and these guys had us in and out of their shop in less than an hour. They saved me having to pay for a hotel room. I was also stressed because my dad is in poor health and it was such a hot day. I was just grateful that they helped out so quickly. They could have charged me a lot and I would have gladly paid it but they did not take advantage of the situation.

The best shop around! Walt and his team always take such good care of our vehicles. He is honest, knowledgeable and doesn’t price gouge you. He only does work that NEEDS to be done. With 5 cars to maintain, a boat and trailer…it’s a lot. But I know I can always count on Walt to take good care of our family! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Don’t waste your time going anywhere else!

I am new to Spokane and live a very frugal and modest life withimited funds. Couple days ago my check engine light came on. I did the right thing and went to an auto parts store and had the code read. Emissions issues.
Off to YouTube university and watched lots of videos for potential causes and repairs.
Put a list of parts together, possible tools, etc... throwing water on a duck....
A friend recommended Walt at A1, so I stopped by and scheduled an appointment.
He let me sit in the lobby as I waited... it less expensive to have Walt's shop fix it than me.
Very very reasonable, polite, fun patrons to talk to,

Recommended to me by another business. Took care of my concerns timely and price was fair and minimal Didn't sell me on unneeded work. They will definitely have all my future business. Honest, fair, and knowledgeable. I've only lived in the area a year and I feel lucky to have already found a great and fair shop. If you have a car issue, definitely start here.

My vehicle was experiencing a small backfire when accelerating after coasting. Dropped it off in the morning and a couple hours later I received a call on what it would cost. Gave them the okay to proceed with the repair. Picked the vehicle that afternoon. Thank you A-1, 800 miles later it hasn't backed fired a bit.

Took my 99 creampuff Tacoma in to have Walt evaluate everything. Evaluated it thoroughly and found nothing that the truck needed. Talk about honest...oh and no charge. Unbelievable.
