Today was my first and last experience here.
I’ve been a Safeway customer for 13 years but these folks will never see my face again.
I came in to grab a few things- water, paper towels, dish soap and concentrated cleaner for work. That’s it.
Typically I don’t use self check out so that I cannot be accused of stealing in any capacity but they had NO EMPLOYEES so self check out was the only option.
I paid for my stuff and went to leave and they LOCKED MY CART AND REFUSED TO LET ME LEAVE UNTIL I SHOWED THEM MY RECEIPT AND THEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO SAY ITS “PROTOCOL. ”
What a joke.

Terrible customer service, I waited for 30 minutes for one person to help me at the customer service register. While I watched multiple employees wander around and say there's nothing they can do. I guess they need to work on training the staff fully. Unfortunate.

My girlfriend works there and today she has been there since 8:45 and hasn’t got a lunch but her supervisor Holly got there at 10:30 can get a lunch before her. Holly is not a very nice individual she has been out to get people especially my girlfriend. As a customer I wouldn’t have her as supervisor of anything. There has been multiple times my girlfriend hasn’t got a lunch at all or breaks

Cahshiers are always kind and helpful. Today. Granted the self checkout lane was busy. But when your a lead, and you have a new person on the floor asking for assistance.. perhaps you should take 1 minute and actually help them when they say they don't know how to do something. Granted, I would have only saved an additional $2.00. But the point is, she rushed by everyone didn't help customers or employees.

Is convenient distance from my home. Wish there weren't so many transients hanging out around the parking lot and outside the store though.
