Bad service in deli. My wife with an infant child waited in line for chicken yesterday. They told her it would be a 10 min wait. More than 30 mins past. She asked them for a 3rd time when the chicken will be out, and they stated that they never started it. I would understand if they forgot the food initially, but she asked 3 times. Sad

Tv8s is a huge Safeway with a lot of selection, and good quality meats, etc., but like all the others, the prices are sky high unless the item you want is on sale.

Something happened here three weeks ago. We have shopped at this store for months without issue. Last week had long lines, and at the register, our coupons would not work; we spent 45 minutes buying chicken. Yesterday we came for chicken Monday. At the register, the deal would not compute. When we came home, our bag was full of chicken wings instead of thighs and drumsticks, and the meat was rubber, nearly inedible. We will not shop here again, and we recommend you don't either.

Went at 12:30 and they had nothing in their deli but fried chicken and Jo-Jos. They dont keep burritos, pizza pockets or any other deli food ready. She said she could make me some but I was on lunch and didn't have time to wait. It sucks but don't plan on them having any food in the hot food section. The shadle safeway always has food so maybe it's because this one used to be a Albertsons and their deli always sucked. I was expecting a safeway because that's what the sign says now.

Hate to leave such a harsh review but this location has the most awful bakery ever! Who ever bakes needs a new job somewhere else. The donuts are disgusting and the same everyday it's literally ridiculous! Come up with some new flavors and types where is your pride? If you don't like Safeway MOVE ON!
Everything is way over priced as is the whole world right now but you thought that your liquor inventory was more important than your customers....do you need 3 or 4 aisles of alcohol? Unbelievable how you all think of things backwards.
However there's a few employees that are ridiculously funny and a complete joy to see at a grocery store. They love their jobs ❤️ The people in the deli and the people behind the scenes you deserve a raise.
Usually when you see certain departments not doing so well it's the supervisors and management that make it awful. Bakery needs an overhaul. There's literally 2 Starbucks across the street from each other, the space in Safeway could be used on maybe a bigger bakery?!!! Ya? I bet your customers would love that and the employees maybe would want to work there enough to make an amazing donut!
Take that Starbucks space and maybe donate it to a small business in the area!

I am usually very happy with their service and sales! Love the staff! However, on occasion, when you get to the register for your U digital discount, it doesn't always show up on your receipt. Having to go in for a refund is never a problem, but it should be plugged in the system beforehand! Or you have to get a raincheck, which is not a problem unless you really want the item that day! 57th Ave is my favorite store; but 29th has some great staff too!!

Cashier was extremely rude. She just kept saying she was off in 10 minutes so we needed to hurry up. We had our groceries bagged and we were just waiting for her to finish the transaction.
