My CC was charged twice when I picked up the rental. I immediately brought this to the Rep.’s (Chris) attention. He told me he couldn’t do anything to fix the problem, but assured me that a manager would remove the second charge the next day. The second charge was not removed for the entire period of my rental, tying up over $700 for a week. Upon returning the car, I again brought this to Chris’ attention who again stated he could see I had been charged twice for the rental but couldn’t do anything to fix the problem. It took an additional two days for the second charge to be removed from my CC.

Vehicle rental unit was a Tacoma pickup as was advertised. Car was still wet and thus outside mirrors and and back window was spotted enough to cause me to have to stop along my 1st 5 miles to get cleaned. After 50 miles the low tire pressure light was illuminated. I stopped at Discout Tire to have all tire pressures adjusted. There were no floor mats in my rental at pickup from the airport,so Discount provided me with some of the paper mats to protect my carpets. The Tacoma's fuel consumption was a little more than I had expected for this type of vehicle. The remainder of my rental was uneventful and the truck performed as expected. The return was quick at the airport and overall I am quite satisfied with Budget Rental.

Grant was very helpful in confirming reservation. The first car issued to me , had scratches and something hanging from the fender wall. Grant was efficient in getting me into another vehicle quickly and on my way.

My rental went off smoothly. There was only one problem. When I woke up this morning, there was frost on the windows. I didn't expect it to be so cold. It wouldn't be a problem if there were a scraper in the car, but I couldn't find one. There have been scrapers in other cars I've rented. I had to find an object I could use instead.Every car should have an ice scraper.

Check-in was amazing, Jason was patient and accommodating to my issues and need for a different car then requested. They however accidentally clicked that I needed their insurance policy after I stated I did not and declined. Got charged $155 for that. At check-out the staff was told that I filled up the car, did not need their gas and was charged $174. I called their billing dept, told them my issues and credited for gas only after I had to prove to them I filled it. I asked to speak with a manager regarding insurance policy and was told too bad and was refused to speak with anyone else. I will never rent from Budget again after this.

Customer service was above and beyond with Zack in Spokane and that was the difference for me! The car was clean and full of gas so we did not have to make an extra stop right away! DropOff was easy at 5 am!! I would definitely use Budget again in my travels!Highly recommend this seamless process of renting a car with Budget!!!!

Usually rent from Budget on our trips. Great customer service. Process is very easy from online ordering, picking up the car to dropping it off. Even upgraded our vehicle at the suggestion of the representative. Very happy we did.

Pros: The car, a Toyota Camry, was fine; comfortable and fairly easy to drive, got reasonable mpg. Was adequate size for us and our luggage. The features included active cruise control, electrically adjustable side view mirrorsCons: The Camry lacked some desirable safety features: Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning and some convenience features: would not pair with our smartphones to make/answer calls or play the radio or use our own GPS guidance system w/the infotainment screen. But the biggest con was the price. Car rentals have become ludicrously high and gives lie to the name of your company: Budget. For this reason we did not consider this rental a very good value.

Please check the vehicles over before leaving with your rental. The vehicle we rented needed new tires and an oil change. Let me be clear I’m not a expert on cars but by the time our trip was completed and I was on my way to return it the tires had become illegal to be on the road. I traveled about 3,000 miles in total. Every time the vehicle was started it told us to check the engine oil. I have rented cars for my families vacations etc for 30 years and recently I have noticed rental agencies have started to slack on safety and the important things. In the past the employee would walk out with you and go over the vehicle looking at dents, tires, making sure lights worked all the stuff. Now you are sent out the door to find the vehicle you rented on your own. The renters are put it a bad position because if we do have concerns we realize we may not get another vehicle the same size we need or maybe not at all if they have no extras. The concern about bringing it back full of gas seemed to be their top priority. If I rent another vehicle from Budget I will ABSOLUTELY AND COMPLETELY check all of the vehicle. When the vehicle was returned I did let the person at the desk know the tire situation and was told I will have some one look at it. I hope that happens and they just don’t turn it around to rent the next day. Maybe the next person will know more about cars and safety. I gave it 2 stars because the vehicle itself was exactly what I needed for size and the front office person who was there when I picked it up did a great job with answering my questions and was very nice

Make sure you check your receipt before you leave, they attempted to charge us almost $6,000 because the person who took the keys inputted the wrong mileage after we returned our car. The receipt should have only been around $480 total. They were not apologetic and gave us attitude when we asked why they charged us a ridiculous amount of money for a rental car. The staff at this company are at the very least negligent, but it also might be a safe assumption that this was done intentionally.

The Wichita Kansas Airport Return staff made everything right that was wrong with the beginning part of my rental from Spokane- had poor customer service at pick up and car smelled of cigarettes. However when I returned the car in Wichita the 2 women on duty were empowered to make decisions on the spot without excuses about computers or managers. They were professional and very helpful. In 3 minutes they made everything great!I do wish budget only made you press 3 buttons and stay on hold for 3 minutes before talking to a live person instead of 5 or 6 prompts that may or may not lead to a live customer rep... took about 15-20 minutes to finally speak to someone.

The automobile Budget Rental Car Company rented me (Reservation # 30179104US4) is disgraceful and illegal for any company to deliver to a costumer.I have photos documenting all the problems with the rental car from the moment we drove off the rental car lot at the Spokane airport.3 different warning lights were on- 1) low tire pressure, 2) Check engine air filter system, 3) change engine oil). On the drive to vacation we were pulled over by a highway patrol officer and told the car’s registration had expired and then gave us a ticket since it is illegal to be driving the car. The next morning, we came out to the car and the driver’s rear wheel was flat. We called Budget roadside assistance which had a towing company repair the tire. The representative (Denise- Employee ID # 315869 located in the Caribbean) told me I cannot drive the car more than 50 miles on the spare tire, and I reminded her that I cannot drive the car at all since the registration was expired and there are all these warning lights about the engine. She then told me the only way I was going to be able to get a replacement car was to drive it over 50 miles to another state back to the Budget Office in the Spokane Airport.This has utterly ruined our vacation since we needed this car to transport us to and from events every day.I emailed Budget about this and never received a response. I will be calling American Express Centurion to cancel this payment

My Budget rental experience was incredible! My car was a Toyota Corolla, and I picked it up at GEG Spokane International Airport. Pick-up was super easy & professional. The car was exactly what I had reserved and in perfect condition! Upon return, I had barely gotten out of my car when someone was there to check me in and send me on my way.

We were at the desk when they opened. The pick up went quickly as we were prepaid. We were very happy to have a larger SUV than we expected. Unfortunately, the hatchback didn't work and the interior was dirty. We looked for a person to speak to but no one was available. We put the bags in the back seat and left.They also didn't have anyone to go over pre-rental damage. We were nervous about that but left anyway. This was our first real vacation! We had a Toyota Highlander, small dents on the chrome and several other places that could have added up.(We did get the hatchback to work the second day. )The check engine light came on half-way through our trip but it didn't have any obvious issues so we went on.Return was simple and I did tell them about not having a pre-rental damage inspection. Haven't heard anything about it.
