Corner Door Fountain & Books is a beautiful hidden secret and a unique, fun place in the Millwood district. The shop is a lovely, cute, and charming little place with shelves of used books, an interesting collection of puppets of all sizes, and old fashion toys. It offers much more than just fountain drinks, ice cream, and milkshakes. They also offer super fresh food like chicken salad, delicious beef barley soup, sandwiches, and homemade chocolate chip cookies, all at fantastic and low prices. In addition, there is a wonderful selection of locally drawn fantasy and sci-fi art, pencil drawings, handmade leather bags and pouches, and other items. The building is almost 100 years old. It is a lovely chunk of heaven and definitely worth a look when exploring Millwood.
Stopped in to look around. The puppets are great. The sweet lady working there is an extremely talented artist! I bought some pencil drawings...she does beautiful work!

Stopped to look around, lots of books, but a wonderful selection of locally drawn fantasy and sci-fi art and handmade leather bags and pouches at reasonable prices. Got a couple of nice Dr Who pieces. Definitely worth a look!
