I had 2 prescriptions sent in by my doctor 11 days ago. I've walked in twice to pick them up and called to inquire about them 3 times. I finally got a call back after over a week , and she told me that one was ready but knows nothing about the other. 11 days??! And you know nothing?!

They just close randomly because they don’t have enough staff, and they can’t always get your meds.

Worst pharmacy ever. Get an increase in dose by my Dr sent in on Friday... They say to early to fill then Monday they say their out and need to order it when then knew Friday It would fill Monday? I put a voicemail in because no one will ever answer the phone and they never call me back. I would switch pharmacy but they are cheaper and I pay out of pocket. Complete trash

Using this pharmacy only for one of my husband prescriptions we have to pay out of pocket for...they have a decent price-that accounts for 1 star. The customer service when picking up wasn't bad, so that's the 2nd star. However working with them in every other way is soo extremely DIFFICULT! I have Never heard of or worked with a pharmacy where you have to leave a message & hope for a call back. They haven't ever filled a prescription sent to them when received-until we call & ASK them to!!?...& By call & ask I mean-call leave a message, wait for a call back, then ask, then wait. Frustrated today my husband is out of his prescription today-we need his refill, was going to pick up today because it says they are open, I am calling to get the prescription on hold to be filled-filled, waited on phone/HOLD for an Hour & a half while trying to tend to 3 kids...I had to call Target to find out if they knew why they wouldn't be answering that long just to find out-they Aren't OPEN Today! Just as many other reviewers have said they experienced. Seems to be the pharmacist (or whomever they absolutely need to operate) doesn't want to work the weekends!!! ? There was no message when you call saying we're closed, no hour update online, some people don't have hours to waste while waiting on hold or driving from an hour away to your store just to find out your closed, have some consideration CVS!!! Get some more & better employees.

I am a Psych ARNP. I have a few patient who use this pharmacy. I understand they are likely understaffed, however, I was on hold to talk with a live person for over an hour to help a patient with her medications and eventually gave up. Tried to call the next day and same thing. I was trying to advocate for my patient so they could get their medications filled on same day so they don't have to make several trips to the pharmacy each month. I eventually told the patient to call her insurance and see what they recommend. She said she was told to ask the pharmacy for a medication sync override which will allow the pharmacy to fill meds on the same day. When my pt went to the pharmacy and told them this she was told by the pharmacist that they had been a pharmacist for 15 years and never heard of this override. She was still not able to get her medications on same day. They filled one but the other one she had to come in the next day to pick up. This is ridiculous; especially as it is not even a controlled substance. Medication sync overrides are common as they are used as a way for patients to get their medications on same days so they don't have to come to pharmacy several times a month.
Medication synchronization (med sync) is a concept in which all of a patient’s prescriptions are coordinated to be refilled on the same day of the month. Synchronizing patients’ refills improves pharmacy efficiency, daily workloads can become more predictable, inventory control is improved, and deliveries (if offered) can be decreased. These all combine to have a significant positive impact on the pharmacy’s bottom line.
Synchronization also helps patients become more adherent to their medications by reducing the potential for gaps between refills. It also comes with the added convenience of a single trip to the pharmacy each month. Patients are assigned a day of the month to pick up all of their prescriptions or have them delivered. Med sync has shown to be beneficial to both patients and pharmacies.
Even if this pharmacy/pharmacist never heard of syncing a patients medication, common sense would tell you the benefits of doing so and why it is a burden on the patient to have to come in a few days later to get other refills. So WORK WITH THE PATIENT AND THE INSURANCE TO GET THEM THE MEDS ON THE SAME DAY!!!
At this point, I honestly wouldn't recommend this pharmacy.

So understaffed, but the people who work here do an amazing job taking care of each of their customers.

This pharmacy is absolute garbage. My Dr has tried several times to send my prescriptions in to them. I've had the Dr call them in and the pharmacy says they got it and will get it together, then 5 days later call to check in to see why I still haven't gotten them filled and be told it was never ordered. This has happened more than once. I've left messages for them to call me back and they don't. This pharmacy is just garbage

I feel sorry for the people who work there. They are constantly understaffed and overstressed, they do the best they can while CVS seems to just set them up for failure. The working conditions must be so miserable that the pharmacist only work there for a few months and then flee. Life saving Prescriptions are sometimes weeks behind. The opening hours are not reliable, the lines are epic. My husband's insurance forces him to go to this pharmacy, otherwise we'd go elsewhere. This is by far the worst run pharmacy in Spokane. Nowhere else has such issues. They should really just be shut down...there is something severely wrong with CVS.

Had a prescription sent at 10am on a Friday. Wasn’t ready when I checked at noon or when I came back at 5pm. Came back Saturday at 4, when their hours are 9-5 and the pharmacy was closed. So frustrating! And I’ve been using this pharmacy for years!

The line has been so long and there is only one person working. Even though I got a text saying my prescription was ready it wasn’t and i was told to come back the next day. CVS needs to send help.

My wife waited over 2 hours in line with a screaming infant with an ear infection for a simple antibiotic. We will never go here again.
