I rented a car online from Dollar Rent a Car. The price given online as opposed to pick up price at the Spokane International Airport was a $100. more. No one has time while traveling to argue about price ! what a ripoff !

Don't rent from this location!!! All sorts of hidden fees, they politely scam you. I have rented from other Dollar locations and they were fine. So disappointed in this location

Worst service experience. Specially when the booking is to pick up from Buffalo Airport Dollar or Herts company as the representatives are same . Worst combination, ripoff, waist of your time. I gave the card from which I booked the car but the card was not good enough as it was a debit card AND NO WHERE DURING MY BOOK I WAS WARNED THAT NEED TO TAKE OR HAVE A CREDIT CARD WHEN I AM PICKING UP AN SUV. During my pickup representative with earbuds on told me I can only have sedan as I am didn’t bring my credit card I was like ok fair enough will you adjust the price accordingly to Sedan he had no clue what I was talking about. As I was getting late I told him ok go ahead give me the sedan for the SUV price now he went inside spoke with his supervisor and told me I have to come back next day for the car. The representative had ego issues or something.

I made a reservation i Dollar International Airport, I arrived 30 minutes before the reservation time, but hey have a huge with around 30 people before me They just say be patient. Horrible service

30mn wait for shuttle while 3 shuttles passed from a competitor should have served as a warning sign....that I would wait another 1h30 at the counter, with people being furious for being treated so poorly. The naive me still was giving this company the befit of the doubt until they asked for my social security number because I was paying with a debit card. That's just not ok. I'm not opening a bank account here! I am ready to pay a deposit for the entire cost of the car if need be, but running my credit score!? Note that the website had said that I would pay extra deposit, which is fine with me, and I was ready for it, as that is always what happens when I rent a car with a debit card. But no. Dollar refused me. They also refused to answer me when I asked if I would be reimbursed what I had prepaid because "I was being unreasonable". Worse, the attendant could not care less that I was stranded at 20F temperature with my daughter in an unknown place....Went to Enterprise Car Rental and rented in literally 5mn, no line, super friendly staff. I have rented many, many cars throughout the US and the world with a debit card, and this has never happened to me. Bye bye Dollar (and Hertz and Thrifty, since they are owned by the same company), hello Enterprise!

Please do NOT rent from this company. They are defrauding consumers by promising one rate and then when you pick up the car they sneak in additional charges. You need to review the contract very carefully. Also rented from them in Syracuse NY and the gas tank was not even close to full and when I went to return the car there was no place at airport to park it. Again they are defrauding consumers with hidden fees and you need to review the contract very carefully.

buyer beware- there is a lot they do not write on the contract. I was 10 hours late and the charge was 270.00. I will send this to BBB and a few other places. This is simply wrong. Plus they collected a tax for nonuse, which I believe is not legal. Very bad horrible worst place to rent. I have rented literally 1000s of cars this is the worst screwing I have ever seen for a 10 hour late fee. DO NOT RENT HERE

BEWARE...BEWARE...BEWARE. We returned the car and a week later I got a $300 charge for smoke damage. No phone call, no explanation. There was no smoke damage, no one smoked in the car. I was the only driver. I rent cars at least 3 times a year and have never had this problem before. I will NEVER rent from this Dollar again and after the fact, I reviewed their yelp reviews by others and this seems to be a common practice for them. My credit card company reversed the charges-

Rented this vehicle and returned this vehicle and they said it was damaged with smoke! We do not smoke nor in this vehicle!!!!!! Will never recommend or rent from them ever again! I will make sure our travel agent knows this as well. They get you for stuff after you return the vehicle for b******* besides an extra buck! Watch out for these scammers!!!!!

Rude service. No one in line but me, and was told rudely to "read the sign" as I was in the loyalty customer line. Did it matter when there was only one employee/one customer?? High pressure to take the extra insurance. Assured me that ANY door ding would result in large charges, like they would be hoping to find one. Car not where they said it would be in the lot. Had to go on a hunt with the auto unlock to find it, in a completely different row/space #. Made sure while driving the rental I parked in the hinterlands everywhere I went so no minute scratch would be found. When returning the car EVERY car rental agency had a sign up directing you down the appropriate aisle except guess who. The ONLY good part was the two employees at drop off were friendly & nice. But not going to Dollar again. Other choices with much better customer service .

Horrible customer service. I had no less the 4 fraudulent charges from this company on my cc. Had to file a dispute. These guys are scammers. Rent elsewhere.

Arriving into Spokane for the first time and being day 1 of our vacation, it was kicked off with a great start renting from Dollar at the airport. Zack was working the desk and was super helpful and very pleasant. He not only helped us with our car rental, but also gave us recommendations for places to check out. We could not have asked for better customer service. Thank you, Zack, for starting our vacation on the right foot.
