Customer service not good. Rudely asked for my ID. I am 62. I no they need it , but she treated me like I was stupid Then refused to check me out.

Freddie's is amazing. Store is always clean and organized. I shop here for their organic section mostly, as well.

UPDATE July 2025. I have to say things have gotten better!! I see oodles of employees every time I shop and they are helpful with a smile.
I tend to be a recluse, so my grocery shopping is how I socialize. Your team may not realize it, but they can really make a person's day by showing gratitude for customers. I work from home, so I don't see many people in real life, lol
THANK YOU for being there and providing good service!!
My only ask would be BRING BACK MEAT CUTTERS!!! I won't buy your meat because it's pre-packaged with extra chemicals. I go to the few stores that carry meat and produce from PNW farms and ranches.
PRIOR REVIEW
I was excited to move close to a Freddy's because they have good specials on groceries. But I'm here at about 7:30 pm and no checkers???
Give me a break. Self checkout us for a quick purchase, not a cart full.
I was lucky to have only 4 bags. Others had much more. One person asked, and they took her aside to check her out but didn't open the stand.
You used to be the place. I knew I could get good service, reasonable priced food, and quick checkout

For the first time I got a cashier that was totally not all there, seemingly exhausted, didn't seem to like the bags I use to carry home. I just edited this review. I put someone's name on it and that was unnecessary. Actually I'm sorry for it. All the rest of this review is accurate.

Common produce is of decent quality but lacking some odds and ends. Meat is priced a bit high though good selection.
Dairy is completely 2 dimensional, and why no plain whole milk kefir, yet all the flavored junk and low-fat? Come on guys.
Fred's was my main grocer but it's feeling more like a Safeway these days. Especially having to ask for a bag at checkout, petty.
Yokes is the wiser option, support the local grocer, get access to higher quality locally sourced foods, greater variety and better pricing.
Even Rosaurs..
Not hating on ya Fred, you've just been slipping.

Dryew (uhh I'm for sure on the 'Dry' part) was absolutely incredible and very helpful with helping me to pay cash for the gas. Great experience. All my experiences with the workers here have been positive but he definitely stands out!

Just watched an employee drop a bunch of broccoli on the floor and put it back like nothing happened. Gross.
Wash your produce people. The higher prices don't mean better food.
