I have been a long time customer of H&R Block, I enjoy the many options for tax prep, upfront pricing and peace of mind provided over the years.
This season I have a concern about not getting my full refund deposited. I contacted my tax prep pro to help me understand, it could be an error in my numbers, but have yet to get any response. Both federal and state agencies dispensed the full refunds expected but I am still expecting another $500.
It may be I am incorrect in my adding or neglected to include something. And it makes sense to start with the person that prepared my return this season to help me understand and put my mind at ease. I am not satisfied with the lack of response to a repeat customer to make sure concerns are addressed.

Initially told me $89 to do My taxes charged me two hundred and forty.
Did not explain to me that if I had the funds loaded on to their credit card. It was gonna cost me a additional $30. Highly unprofessional never go there again.

I was very impressed with Janice Lindgren's expertise. She went over and above basic customer service. Best of all, she was very responsive so tax returns were prepared and filed quickly.

I have gone thru hr block for years this was worst experience at airway Heights location. I wasn't explained new changes at all. I had to bug my tax person about getting copies of my taxes because I like to have them printed out in case anything happens. I had to make several phone calls and few stop ins and she would tell me they be ready than they weren't. And when she would call me back she acted like she didn't know why I called and had to repeatedly request them.They have a new card besides emerald card and I was asking about that she said they would go over that wasn't gone over instead she tried signing me up for it were my credit was ran if I knew that I would of said no because I only like my credit ran for certain things. This is first year I've done Washington tax credit and she really didn't explain how that worked or when they do that and when it'll show on my app instead of $0. It was just overall not a good experience with her we're I feel I should not waste $500 especially when we have to digitally upload everything ourselves now too and that I could do this on my own or I'm going to start going thru another company. If I could give a zero I would but can't cause than I wouldn't be able to leave this review. Also I have updated my new phone and info several times it won't change in the app or anything as well and that's super frustrating as well especially when logging in.

Very knowledgeable and were able to explain things to me and find tax credits or whatever they're called so I get more money back I didn't even know where available

Horrible experience today. First they scheduled us before they were even open - then the lady let us in early but seemed beyond annoyed by it. She then realized we were with her. After starting our paperwork she realized she didn’t know how to complete one of the forms. She asked her coworker and the two began to bicker at one another about how to do it. It was incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. Once the process was done she showed us our return. Great. Suddenly two min later she shows us another number, two hundred dollars less. No explanation. So I inquired about the lower amount and was told “I apparently forgot some information and I guess it dropped your refund”…. Then was told it would cost DOUBLE in fees for our return. We declined and will take our business elsewhere. The incompetence and unprofessional behavior was astonishing. We came here because we wanted someone with knowledge to do our taxes. I am better off doing it myself.

Make sure they double check your social security number and birthday. She had to file mine twice and it screwed everything up where I got $500 deposited under someone else's birthday and social ?
