It was not an easy wait getting these boots, but was well worth it. These custom super duties are the best fitting boots I've owned. I love the look, and the grain pattern of the uppers are perfect. Very helpful getting measured and fitted.

I ordered a pair of boots in April 3rd, 2024. I called to ask a question about the boots and the return policy and customer service at JK offered me free shipping and to take my order. He was nice but as we pressed forward, I detected some weirdness. Anyway, the customer service person said he wasn’t sure if the boots were in stock that I wanted despite the fact they were in stock, online as we made the order. Then, there was a discrepancy as to the shipping, which I wanted the boots before Sunday. It was Wednesday night when I placed the order. I pointed out I wanted the USPS, 2-day priority service and I guess the customer service person thought they were going to do the 3-5 days, since they were giving me free shipping. I said I would even pay for the : day but he said it was fine, they would cover it! The next day, a shipping person confirmed the boots were there, in stock and that they would be going out that day, April 4th, 2024. That was still enough time to get them to NY by Saturday evening. Anyway, I had a feeling and called at the middle of the day on April 4th, 2024. The boots had not shipped out as promised and I cancelled the order. I also realized that at the time maybe it was an expense I couldn’t afford. They tried to dissuade me but I insisted. I even sent a confirmation, cancellation email. I received another call, two hours later from another person at JK, pleading with me to take the boots, offering me a discount. I stood my ground. Something didn’t feel right. I even read a few negative reviews, confirming my experience with JK customer service. Anyway, April 5th, 2024, I received a confirmation of cancellation and that a credit would be given to me within 7-14 business days! What! That’s a long time and it wasn’t brought to my attention during the initiation of the sale. I called today, April 13th, to speak with JK customer service and they were unpleasant, combative, speaking over me and really rude! They said they are a small company and usually do refunds in bulk, on Fridays. I pointed out that two Fridays had passed, since my return was confirmed by email. I also pointed out that I put the transaction into dispute with my credit card company. JK customer service because indignant and said I should withdraw my dispute and they would issue me a refund right away. They said as long as I had an open dispute, that the credit could not go through! What he meant was, they ‘wouldn’t’ put it through with an open dispute but they actually ‘can!’ A credit would ‘automatically’ end the dispute! What a despicable company run by a bunch of dishonest and shady people! I called my credit company and the advised me to leave the dispute open because once I withdraw it, I cannot reopen it and I would be at the mercy of JK Boots! Imagine! JK customer service even had the audacity to say over the phone that this is not conducive to good customer/business relations and that after this, we should no longer conduct business together! Right on! So hurry up and give me my credit, JK Boots so we can hasten that process! One reviewer even said he opened up his boots and was disappointed by the quality of the boots! Imagine if I had the boots delivered and tried to return them? Perish that thought!Buyers beware!

Great product, great company. Fast response to email. Their try-on program worked great, and the boots I ordered fit great out of the box with minimum break-in period. Family owned, made in the USA, what more do you need? They build to stock or you can spec your own custom build. Sure you pay for it, but these are work boots, you do have a job, right? Buy once, cry once.

I emailed JK about an order I'm expecting in a day or so. Ernest replied quickly with a very helpful option. This will be my third pair of JK's I'm really enjoying the boots and appreciate the customer service!

I have had my OT Pro’s about a month now. The break in is very mild, I have wore them everyday since for the full workday with little issue. The only complaint I have is I wish they didn’t take so long to be made, but I knew that going in.

Hey guys, I’m sure you get no shortage of feedback and already know how good your product is, but the OTs I received a week ago and have been wearing all day every day ever since are amazing. They have the perfect blend of feeling nimble and connected to the ground while still being tough and sturdy. It’s a really unique boot design that sets you guys apart.I was very careful using your sizing guide and they fit perfectly with remarkably little break in (and this is on the standard leather). JK Boots are absolutely amazing. I absolutely love mine. Everything from the construction, support, durability and style has not only met, but surpassed my highest expectations!!! The breaking in period for my boots was easy and short unlike any of the other PNW brands I’ve experienced. Fantastic boots and fantastic customer service. Sizing was a bit hard to figure out but as soon as I got it the boots fit like a glove!
