I have had 2 previous lessons from other guitar teachers that I wasnt happy with. Then I met Roy and decided to try a lesson with him. After the first lesson I had the desire to play again. He knows exactly the path to put you on for what you are striving for. Bottom line if you are struggling with your playing or dont know where to go.... Then give learn to burn a try.

I got lessons from Justyn Priest for a couple months before we found out my wife was pregnant with our second child so I stopped so we could save up.The lessons I did have were great and I am really really hoping one day I can return. I dabbled in guitar for years but at 30 years old I decided to get formal lessons. Although I didn’t stay long what I did learn was significant and pushed me further than any YouTube video could.Highly recommended.

Roy Jackson, owner of learn to burn is the best teacher ever. I’m 41 and learning to play guitar, my son also attends. He can teach any demographic, he is so patient and makes every lesson fun!! The arts are so important and I’m glad to be a student at Learn to Burn. Don’t delay schedule a lesson today!!

I have been a guitar student at Learn to Burn for 4 years now and have grown exponentially in my abilities to play. Great teachers, fun atmosphere, clean facility, and a nurturing to become the musician you want to become. Highly recommend!

Best music school I have ever been in. The staff is always very friendly and the teachers there are downright fantastic. My guitar teacher Roy is always so helpful and patient. I have really grown in confidence and skills from being one of his students. I am praying this Covid mess will be over soon so that the recitals will be back on! The energy is always so fun and cheerful when you go to a "Learn to Burn" recital so I would definitely recommend attending one if you have have the opportunity!

I took vocal lessons from Noree and she is a wonderful teacher. She is patient, professional, well educated, and incredibly friendly. Everyone at the shop was! I'm not sure how it would work now with covid and everything but when I was a student they rented out the Knitting Factory for the school's annual recital and it was just a fantastic experience.

I wasn't sure if I could just pick up the drums and electric guitar in my 30s without having any experience. I was terrified, but I wanted a challenge, and someone to guide me. Four years later, I am continually blown away by the amount of knowledge and finesse Gabe and Roy bring to the table! Lessons are very engaging, and I always feel welcome to be myself and play!

I do drums and was a former student for Learn to Burn. I became a really solid and good drummer when I was only 9 years old. Gabe Burdett was my drum teacher, he was always encouraging me, pushing to my goals, and always, always complemented me(definitely recommend him!) Overall the performances were great, the teachers were outstanding and they changed my life! I really want to join again!!!

I can't say enough good things about this place! Took both voice and guitar lessons here, and had a great experience with both my teachers. They were so friendly and really helped me feel comfortable and confident. If you want to gain skill as a musician, I highly recomend taking lessons here! I myself am now studying to become a voice teacher, in large part due to the wonderful experiences that Learn to Burn gave me. My love for music only grew and grew everytime I went!

The staff at Learn to Burn are the genuine article. They are talented, experienced, personable, and knowledgeable. And good people. Bonus is the concerts that are put on twice per year. Amazing and several notches above a “recital”. I don’t know that you could get that type of experience with other instructors. Great for kids BUT don’t forget us older folks!! If you have always wanted to learn, improve on, or get back to playing an instrument, nearly anything from voice, piano, stringed instruments, DRUMS (yeah, Gabe!), brass, jump in. We’ve missed those concerts this year with COVID but looking forward to their return.

I have been a student for over 10 years and it is still the highlight of my week! The instructors are so professional and patient that learning new music is exciting and challenging. Any style or genre of music you choose can be incorporated into your lesson. The student recitals (which are optional) are really well run and a great way to meet new friends. If you really need a positive space to grow your love of music then these instructors and this program should be your only choice!

Great experience! Our daughter took drum lessons from Gabe Burdett for several years. She found the lesson rewarding and fun and it paid off! She excelled as a percussionist in high school and went on to Eastern Washington University to study music.Gabe was always professional, reliable, reasonable; not to mention a stellar drummer and an excellent teacher. If you or your child want to learn drums, Gabe is your guy!!!

I have been going to drum lessons with Gabe for 4 years and it has been great. It is so easy to learn and I highly recommend going to the learn to burn family. From the start i knew it was a good choice to go. They are all super nice, social, funny, light hearted people and they really want to get to know you.
