It's an ok gym. Lots of times they have multiple cardio machines that are unusable and need to be fixed. And there isn't a lot of space or machines for weight training either. Expect to be crowded and to not have the equipment you want available for you to use or else you might be waiting for awhile (even at 5am openings it is busy and you can't always get machines). The staff however is nice and so are the other patrons.

If I could give this location zero stars, I would. They keep trying to sell memberships at a locations that is already over packed because all they care about is sales. I keep seeing their sign, "Join Muv Fitness"... On another note, they have another sign saying "Voted #1Gym" which is false advertisement based on the horrible reviews. Employee turnover seems to be very high, which indicates a terrible work place environment. You have to be flexible with your work outs because you there is a 100% chance you can't do your routine. It's a dirty gym, and there is something new broken every single day. Save yourself the trouble of saying "I'm sorry for your negative experience, your disappointment. Or we strive to do this or that..." because your words are just empty promises with no action behind it. I'd like to know exactly what you're doing to remedy these problems. Will be uploading pictures soon. Reporting you guys to the better business bureau for scamming so many people out of their money. Wouldn't be surprised if a class action lawsuit came up :)

The sign up process was so unprofessional and felt unnecessarily pressured. I wanted to pay monthly rather than give them by account draft information and the weekend manager literally would not let it go to the point that I was really irritated. The initial walkthrough was rushed and the weekend manager didn't really listen to my questions. If my work wasn't paying for most of the membership I don't think I would have joined. The experience left such a bad taste in my mouth, that I've just continued to use my home gym rather than deal with them. When I do stop by it's always so crammed full that there isn't any parking and every piece of equipment is in use--another reason I continue to use my home gym. It also looks dirty and run down in every corner. I may just cancel if they don't open the new location soon.

MUV Fitness (South Spokane) Since MUV closed their downtown location, this has been my "go-to" gym when I'm in town and want to beat up some weights. NOTE: I don't mean that literally. I respect the iron. Anyway...if you read my reviews, you may notice that I travel for work. And when I do travel, the hotel gyms just will not do. MUV Fitness located at South Spokane hits the spot. The gym is located about 15 minutes from downtown or 20 minutes from the airport. The gym is on the smaller side, but still has enough room for cardio, machines, free weights, racquetball courts, and even a full basketball court. As per my last visit, guest passes cost $10 plus tax. Pros: -Good gym vibe. I have yet to see a bunch of people just hanging around and doing nothing. I do see gym goers hitting it hard and having fun at the same time. -Clean Gym and Nice Staff. Cleaning stations all over the place. -Good equipment. A lot of older pieces, which are typically my favorite. -Tons of cardio (stair masters, treadmills, stationary & recumbent bikes, and ellipticals) -Full basketball court. Perfect for me when I want to practice my slam dunk skills. Yup, I wish. Cons: -Small gym and equipment is too close to each other. -Men's locker room: Could be cleaner 2024 Yelp Review #7

This place has broken down equipment and unclean facilities. It's been like this for three years. It's a dump!

It is hard to find someone I feel comfortable and trustworthy with, when it comes to my child . Sofia's friendly, hard working and caring energy goes above and beyond everyday she works. It's because of her I keep coming back to work out knowing my child is in good hands .

They were discriminatory towards disabled people. They sold the account to us and never finished the contract. They were rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend to older people, disabled people or people who could be discriminated against because they are properly plump. This is not a good deal. The hot tub was green from someone peeing in it the day before. We bought our memberships just prior to a holiday. They were open hours later for the holidays, and continued this policy beyond the holidays, also. Better deal at the Y!

Worst gym in Spokane. Always very dirty, equipment is broken and they can't even replace lights that go out. The locker rooms are an absolute mess- I don't believe they clean at night. Just shows they do not value their members regardless of what they say.

I mean, you can get an okay work out here. Parking is horrible at all times. Machines are broken. The new facility was supposed to happen by summer. It's fall now. It's overcrowded. It's gross. I stay for the yoga class and that's it. If you can afford better, LEAVE. This place is bad.

One of the worst gyms I've ever been too. Too much equipment crammed into too small of a space. Can't use the weights without bumping into people. At the same time there is too few of the equipment that people actually use. Equipment is frequently broken and there are zero working weight collars in this gym as of right now. Even compared to other MUV fitness's this is a poor gym Update as I'm in the gym right now. A good amount of the equipment that is "working" is actually broken but not labeled. The only dual cable Freemotion station has been broken for at least six weeks and they just took the sign off.

Still waiting for the "new location" to open up (was supposed to happen in September) undersized and oversold on memberships Is the M.O. of this gym unfortunately. Location/convenience is the only reason I keep my membership.

I had the best experience signing up today at MUV fitness! Kenny is personable and made me feel like I’ve been coming here for years already. Can’t wait to start making this place my 2nd home.

I have been going to this location for 5 years. They are always having their ups and downs but this is definitely a down time. Cleanliness of this location is horrible. There is mildew growing under the shower mats that hasn't been cleaned for ever. You started noticing it over a week ago and it is still there, meaning the showers haven't been cleaned for at least a week. Out of 8 showers only one had soap and other people have told the front desk about it, only to be ignored. The same trash has been on the floor for over a week and the floors are so filthy you don't want to put your feet on them. Talk in the locker room is consistently about how the place is becoming. There was a time I would have rated this 5 star. On cleanliness alone a 2 is gracious.
