Manito Park is Spokane's premier and magical city park, a must-see and a true treasure. It features two playgrounds with fun toys, a splash pad, a duck pond, tennis courts, and tons of paved and unpaved trails. There are extensive rose gardens, a lilac garden, a perennial garden, and the traditional English-style Duncan Garden. The Gaiser Conservatory has rare and exotic plants. The park is super dog friendly with lots of places to walk. It offers picnic areas, a small outdoor café, and live music in summer. During Christmas, there is a light show with food carts. It is a simply beautiful park with always a special site to be seen.
