I love North 40! We have a really large ranch so we get a lot of stuff there. The only reason for the four stars and not fives because the price of clothes is outrageous.

North 40's archery range is the best and don't get me started on marshal, long story short that guy is amazing and needs a pay raise. I can't believe they are trying to close that place to expand the fishing store I personally haven't bought anything from the fishing store or the archery range but the archery range employes are nicer and give off a better vibe. THEY MUST NOT BE SHUT DOWN!!! (If you are an employe of the fishing store no offence)

I had such an incredible experience at this location over the weekend. I came in to purchase a large order of feed and was helped by awesome staff from the minute I stepped in the store. Special thanks to Jim the manager, Lucy in the tack department, Jamie and Adria in customer service, and Steven and Garrett who helped me load it all up.

North 40 has everything farmers and ranchers need, whether they are small hobby farmers or serious ranchers. The prices are good, the service is good, the employees are GREAT. The people make this North 40 really stand out from the others. They are super helpful, friendly, and unfailingly polite. They always have a good word (and they like my dog, so they obviously have great judgment too).

Horrible customer service, it's like N40 hired zombies to work at this location. I checked online to make the item I needed was in stock and drove over - Side note: The inventory tracker on the website is never accurate, best to order online, and/or call beforehand. The shelf was empty when I looked, so I found a young associate in that department. When she finally made eye contact with me, I asked kindly if they had said item in stock. "Did you look already?", was her response. Uhh no, I just wandered over to the counter to bother you, I thought. When I said yes, she looked on their website (the public one, not their internal system) and said that there was 1 available. She walked over, looked, shrugged and said "I guess we're out" and walked away. No attempt to help me order the part, or see if any of their other stores carried it. Big R back in the day used to have excellent customer service, it's sad to see how far North 40 has fallen.

I consistently get cold interactions from the employees here, except for the greeters. I was wondering if I was doing something wrong or just happened to get people that are having a bad day, but skimming through the reviews it looks like it’s a pattern. Unfortunate, because it’s a great store otherwise. This says to me that it’s an unpleasant place to work or the people in higher positions don’t care for their work force well. Bummer guys, you should fix it.
