Our experience with Preedy's was exceptionally bad. The quick summary is that they did "repairs" that we didn't want or authorize, charged more than expected, and we soon realized that they hadn't actually even fixed the car. However, when we contacted them about this, they weren't willing to help. If you want the longer version, here's what happened:The car had started to have the battery light come in or even to die. My husband, who is pretty handy, thought it was likely the alternator/voltage regulator, but got the battery tested first since it was easier to pull out. The battery was bad, so was replaced with a new battery. However, the problem persisted, so he had the alternator checked next. It tested bad, in the car, at O'Reilly's. He got a refurbished alternator and put that in. However, the same behavior continued. He took that alternator out and took it back to O'Reilly's. They tested it out of the car and said it was good. At that point, he suspected that there was something else going on, perhaps something in the electrical system, and that's when we took it to Preedy's. They said that the alternator was bad, and that O'Reily's test was not reliable. They offered to replace it with a brand-new Delco alternator. Since the vehicle was already at the shop and we didn't really want to put in another O'Reilly's refurbished alternator at that point, we agreed, but said we'd need the core back so that we could get a refund at O'Reilly's. We didn't hear anything from them for two days at which time they called to inform us that they had "warrantied" the O'Reilly alternator and put in another O'Reilly's refurbished alternator. This was NOT what they had offered and what we had agreed to, nor was it something we would have wanted them to do since obviously my husband was perfectly capable of doing that work. They also charged us the same as if they had put in the brand new Delco alternator they had said they were going to put in. They DID ultimately refund us the cost of the O'Reilly's alternator after my husband argued the point but didn't apologize or make any other accommodation for the unauthorized unwanted work.We thought that at least the car was fixed, but no. The battery light continued to come in and the car started to die again. We called Preedy's and they said there was nothing they could do because it was an O'Reilly's alternator.The alternator tests fine at O'Reilly's, not sure if that's reliable or not at this point, but the bottom line is we are out over $600 at this point and the car is not and never was fixed.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I was looking for a certain make/model winter tire. Preedy’s was able to find the tires and have them delivered the next business day. I dropped my vehicle off the morning of my appointment and Preedy’s was able to have the tires mounted and balanced before noon (during one of the busiest times of year). I highly recommend this company.

Wildly fast and pleasantly helpful. Trevor was professional and exceedingly easy to work with. Fair price. Tires have not fallen off yet!

The service we receive from Preedy's is exceptional. They really care about the customer. They shuttled me to my work and back to get my vehicle when the job was done. The owner and associates are professional and polite. It is a pleasure doing business with them. This is the only place we buy tires.This kind of great service is a rarity today.Thank you Preedy's. I have always had a good overall experience with Preedy’s both in terms of tire service & in doing basic car services with them such as oil changes, transfer case service, alignment, brakes and other jobs. I haven’t ever had to take my car back to them after a service was performed.The one area I would ask them to clarify up front during the tire purchase experience is that the road hazard warranty is not a full stand-behind warranty rather it is a pro-rated warranty and is pretty slim coverage. This may affect my purchasing decisions for tires as I move forward as I may just opt to purchase from tire rack and have them shipped to Preedy’s for installation as the road hazard was the main reason I was paying a 30-40% premium to purchase through Preedy’s.It may be important to note that I have been a loyal customer for 18 years.

I cannot speak more highly of Preedys. They do good work and are a pleasure to deal with. They handle everything from large to small. I am one of the poorer clients and they do an excellent job and make feel as important as anyone and keep my car running. That’s a true professional. I have referred them to friends, and anyone who goes there will be lucky to have found them.

After another service twice misdiagnosing my engine noise, Preedy’s took the time and care to get it right. They were very pleasant and communicated well, and fixed my car expeditiously. I’d def recommend them.

I've been with Preedy's for 27 years. Would I refer them? Of course, and better yet already have on numerous occasions. I They are straight froward in a calm and that'- what-it-is kinda way.Got questions? Ask them. The guys are knowledgeable and they don't know the answer they will find it.

I appreciate the great service at Preedy's. I just had the 5000 mile maintenance service on my Mazda 6. They changed the oil and made thorough checks of the vehicle. They let me know the the rear brakes will need to be replaced shortly and we scheduled an appointment accordingly.

I have been going to Preedy's for years now. My parents went there also. It seems to me the shop is different now, different feel. Guess it is all the new employes that I interact with. I had new tires mounted, which I ordered on line. The cost since last time is a little over double what I paid then. ???

Have had a challenging few years trying to find honest mechanics who get the job done right the first time and don’t overcharge. Pready’s was recommended by a friend and we are so relieved to finally have this auto shop to rely on!!! Highly recommend these guys!
