STAY FAR AWAY!!! I have had major engine problems ever since I bought my car from Affordable Auto, and they refused to make it right even when I took my car back to them only a month after I bought it! I thought they gave me a good deal for the car but I ended up regretting my purchase immediately. When I chose Affordable Auto dealership to purchase my used car from I did so with an expectation that I would be sold a reliable vehicle that would be free of needing major repairs in the foreseeable future. What I got from them, a dealer that says they value their customers, was a lemon of a car that had major engine issues as soon as I paid them my hard earned money and drove it off their lot. What I was asking from them is to provide me a reliable and mechanically sound vehicle. I bought a Hyundai Santa Fe for $6,000 cash at the end of August 2019 and and not even 3 weeks later it was burning through 5 quarts of oil around every 100 miles I drove. By December I wasn't even driving it because it needs a new engine put in. I contacted Keith multiple times after I realized the issues I was having were more serious than I thought. I decided not to purchase a warranty, so because I bought it "as-is" I decided to take it to the auto shop who performed my pre-purchase inspection before I took it to Affordable Auto to see if it was going to be a simple fix. When it became apparent from 2 different auto shops that my car had major engine problems (aka hundreds of dollars worth of work, or a new engine which costs thousands of dollars) I took it to Affordable Auto to see if they would make things right. Doug replaced the PCV valve (which I paid for plus labor); he had assured me would fix the problem (it did not), so Keith said they would split the cost to put a new engine in, which would cost me thousands of dollars, not a fair solution if you ask me! I asked if I could trade my car in with another off their lot. Nothing he was offering was anywhere near the value of my 6,000 car, so he offered me 2,000 to buy it back from me! Keith told me my car wasn't worth anywhere near 2 grand and they were doing me a favor with that amount. It is very clear that my car isn't even worth a third of the price I bought it for even when I purchased it. I was trying my best to come to some sort of agreement that didn't mean them stealing from me but they just shut down everything I had to say! They sold me a car with major engine problems, which I found very quickly after I bought it and I was scammed 6,000 dollars!! Please don't go here to buy a used car, there is a very high chance you will get scammed out of thousands of dollars like I did. They told me over and over that they wanted to make things right with me but it was like talking to a brick wall! It is very apparent that money is what solely drives the decisions of their company regardless of whether those decisions are beneficial to their customers so I urge you to stay away and purchase a used car somewhere else.
