I have lived in Spokane 15 years. I wish I had looked up River City Auto sooner as car shopping has been a nightmare over the years. Recently my wife and I needed to buy a car and after 6 different places we were burned out and frustrated beyond belief. We happened upon here and man is this a diamond in the rough. Absolutely 100% satisfied in our experience. Mark and Chris were incredible to work with, cars were great and clean, no fuss or games and they took amazing care of us. I will definitely be an ongoing customer after this experience. Big thank you to Chris for everything he did and making sure we have a reliable car for my wife. I have never been impressed with a car sales business until here.

Needed a new car. Looked pretty heavily. River City had a great selection. I picked up a 2014 Subaru Legacy. Amazing deal, very good price, everything runs well, no issues. Super nice staff and easy to work with.

Purchased a 2015 Subaru in January, 25. No pressure sales ,smooth trade-in and transaction. Very happy with our purchase! First hot day in May we had no AC .... one phone call and a short drive and the problem was fixed with a handshake and a smile . Highly recommend them !!

Bought a Subaru Baja from River City Auto Sales after being recommended by a neighbor. If you are in the market for a used car and haven't stopped by this dealer, you are wasting your time and money. I have never encountered a dealer that displayed such a high level of integrity and commitment to helping you find what you need. Whatever your budget is, you'll walk away knowing exactly what you paid for and the quality that stands behind it. You won't be disappointed. If my car runs out of life, there is no question I will be back to buy another one and will always recommend them to others.

I went to River City Auto Sales looking for a decent used car, ended up getting a Subaru. When talking to Chris about a car my main priorities were reliability, and something good all year round. An issue of reliability did arise; however, Chris and his recommended mechanic were able to fix it at no cost. Chris wasn’t interested in haggling; likely due to the vehicles being priced reasonably around their market values. If you do business with River City Auto Sales, you’ll get a no-nonsense honest salesman that ensures quality.

Chris is a genuine honest salesman I have ever met!!! The engine in our car blew up with-in 8 days of ownership. He let has take a car of equal value, or a check for the amount we paid. No questions asked!!! Wish I could give a six star review...

As an out-of-state buyer, Chris was communicative, honest and happy to discuss different options. The paperwork was mailed quickly to transfer state titles and the overall process was great and reassuring. Would definitely recommend and work with Chris again.

For starters, I was pretty skeptical about buying a used car on this corridor of Sprague/ a used car from a lot in general. I have bought used cars privately, but you never hear anything good about used car lots.
I have to say now I would send anyone to River City and trust they would get a solid car and a fair price. I worked with Todd (the dad) and Chris (the son), but mostly Todd. My wife and I first went to look at a Land Rover they had and Todd waited till we got off work to take a look. We liked it but wanted to shop around. There was no pressure, Todd talked us through some repairs he had done and was transparent. We looked in every west coast date and Idaho and Montana for the specific mode we wanted to compare to the one Todd was selling. In the mean time, I asked mechanics and other people I knew around town what they knew of thought of River city auto. I heard great, positive things from everyone. I even messaged people who had left reviews previously to see how their cars were years later, and they all still had positive things to say (I'm pretty thorough). After a few weeks, we went back to Todd and sent the Land Rover he was selling in for pre-purchased inspection at a very reputable mechanic for this type of car. Everything Todd said was fixed was indeed fixed and the car came back with a glowing inspection. I brought Todd cash and he did all the paperwork. Todd even had a good recommendation for getting a great deal on tires in town. River City Auto is the only used car lot I would recommend in Spokane! Thank you Todd and Chris, I just might have to get another car from you all just for the fun.
