This was close to the river which was a nice walk to city center. Never had a room cleaning for the three nights we stayed so we ran out of towels and toilet paper. Had to take our garbage out . Expect better service from a hotel. Room was about average for a hotel. The site did have a place with games that would keep kids occupied.

Luke warm water both at 10:30pm and 6:30am prepaid the room 4 days in advance but they kept pushing our accommodations farther away from the lobby, also with the complete lack of weather strpping around the door. Light sounds and smells from the hallway very disappointing also this is my first bad review ever. Please see attached photos

For a family of 5 book at the Holiday Inn across the street on the Hill. We stayed there last year w/ my family of 5 very comfortably because the rooms were larger and included a fold out couch plus the 2 queen beds and also has a fantastic Free continental breakfast. The buffet was mediocre here at Ruby River and over priced especially for paying 275 per night. After taxes and fees. It felt like they just wanted to check us in and had no regard for the size of my family and the room they put us in with just 2 beds. Both nights were very un comfortable at Ruby river and no extra portable beds were offered to accommodate the size of my family.. I would not stay here again because it was un-comfortable and over priced and did not have a convenient continental breakfast.

A pig with lip stick! This hotel has a wonderful location but overall reminds me of a pig with lip stick. It’s been remodeled so appearance wise it looks modern but the bones are old.Beds & pillows are on the level of a cheap motel 8 that cares that they checked a box and provided them only. The sound dampening was minimal as every little noise from the hallway was easily heard in the room. Every step from the upstairs was heard below as the structure creaks and tippy toe movement sounds like an elephant stomping.Upon opening the closet my daughter was hit in the head by a metal stopper that probably one day was utilized for a function but now is only used to make a child test their reflexes. The bed base had supports sticking 4” out that loved to reach out and touch you when walking by.The mini fridge was micro. In addition to the spendy prices (location), they do not provide complimentary breakfast, but instead try to drain another $15 per person for a basic mini buffet style breakfast.Bathrooms are small and cramped with barely enough room to turn around. The one positive being that the shower head comes from the ceiling, providing lots of clearance.Overall I recommend looking at the neighboring hotels and leveling up.

This hotel was great! Getting to the location was a bit iffy due to the high amount of the unhoused on the other side of the river, but it's no different than a hotel in San Francisco (Well, better actually) the bed was comfy, the front desk staff was quick and friendly. Would

Had an amazing stay for our anniversary! Front desk associates were very kind and helpful! Room was great very clean and modern, bed was very comfy and the river view was gorgeous! The hot tub was fantastic as well, large and kept at a good hot temperature with good jets, the pool area looks beautiful even tho it wasn't set up yet (closed for winter) it makes me want to come back this summer and check it out! All around 5 stars great prices for a great location and room ??Nearby activities: Right in downtown area lots of stuff to do within a 5 min drive

Update in 2024: They have convinced Tripadvisor to delete reviews first because of a "change in ownership" which hasn't happened in 6 years and then "renovations" which were started in 2019 and predates at least my stay. So don't trust reviews there. Hopefully Google is more credible.Review:Unsafe. We were locked in our room because the door got stuck and the windows have "security screws" that prevent openings them more than a couple of inches. Maintenance had to get a ladder, climb up to the window, and pass us a screw driver and then electric drill for us to get all of the screws out so that they could open the window enough to climb inside and then bust the door open for us.Other issues:There's lonly one elevator in building 1. If your room is in building 6, it's a very long walk. Especially when you find that your room isn't on the second floor (after they asked your preference and you said second floor) and then either have to carry your luggage down the stairs or make the long track back to the elevator and then back a third time in the first floor. The room had a lot of cobwebs and the partial renovations left a lot of dated items such as a popcorn ceiling and old fixtures.Very noisy from the hallway and stairs even after midnight on a Thursday. The floors are very noisy like in an old rickety cabin. There was dirty sheets and garbage strewn about the hallway. There aren't enough parking spaces for the rooms so you have to wait for someone to leave in order to get a spot. The vending machines have card readers but only take cash. The breakfast was very basic and took ages with a huge line.

It's next to a vintage/thrift store and it's so lovely! It's quiet and nice. The space feels urban, as well as being incredibly clean and well maintained. I enjoyed my stay here and the pool/hot tub. I'll definitely stay here again if I come back to Spokane!Rooms: The rooms were comfortable, well furnished, and the decor has a luxe feel.

We stayed at Ruby River last night, great room, ground floor (much appreciated Mili!) Got checked in early, no waiting. It was great.Osprey Restaurant is not nearly as good as it had been under Red Lion where breakfast buffet was included. Now you pay $10-15 a plate; would have been fine except for the nasty seasoning on your potatoes. I just don't like it, salty, stinky. If our waitress had simply asked "seasoned or plain" I would have immediately responded plain! After I was served I called her back over and asked to have potatoes remade with no seasoning; she seemed reluctant but said she would get them remade on a side plate. Then after I'd eaten my eggs my overcrispy toast showed up (left under a heat lamp I'm thinking)showed up, no potatoes. So I finished my bacon and some of the toast. Still no potatoes. The next time she walked by I told her just forget the potatoes as I'd almost finished the other stuff. Dirty look. Rude! And I overheard another table ask the other waitress for fruit that should have been with their breakfast. You need to either note on your menu that those potatoes are seasoned! Or train your servers to ask seasoned or plain! It's not rocket science to give the customer a choice. Honestly after that experience I'm not inclined to eat there again-though I WILL say my bacon arrived not crispy but limp as I ordered it. Thank you to the cook, but that stuff on the potatoes-ick!Food & drinks: Breakfast was for 1 of the 2 an unhappy experience, see above. The 2nd diner had no issue with breakfast.

I suggest changing the windows to vinyl so you don't feel the motorcycles passing by.
