I wanted to bring something to your attention regarding my son’s experience at your shop. He came in about 15 minutes before closing and politely explained that he needed a haircut for a wedding. He even offered a generous tip to compensate for the inconvenience.
The stylist he approached (a larger lady with curly hair—I unfortunately did not catch her name) responded very harshly. She told him they were closed and even went so far as to say she wasn’t “taking a bribe.” While I understand everyone has tough days and closing time is important, my son was polite and respectful. It doesn’t take much effort to kindly accommodate a customer—especially a 17-year-old trying to look his best for an important event.
He ended up getting his haircut down the street and looked fantastic. That other shop treated him warmly and appreciated his kindness. I just wanted to make you aware because I don’t believe your company would want someone representing your business in a way that makes customers feel as though they are doing something wrong simply by walking in before closing.
