The Hook & Needle Nook is a very welcoming, cozy, and friendly fiber artist's paradise and haven for crafters. It offers a nice selection of hand-dyed, luxurious, and workhorse yarns, from local handpaints to premium acrylics, though the store is noted to be heavily wool-focused. The store also stocks spinning fibers, tools, needles, and all manner of useful notions for knitting, weaving, and spinning, plus a quilting corner. The staff is super helpful but not annoying. The facility is super clean with free on-site parking. It offers a variety of classes and seems to host enjoyable workshops or gatherings. While the environment is a nice little hangout, those with severe wool allergies should be aware of particles in the air.
Very welcoming and cozy. Prices were reasonable, and everyone was very friendly. There seemed to be a workshop or gathering while visiting which seemed like it might be enjoyable if me or my wife were to come back and sign up.
