Drove from across town to visit this business on a Saturday afternoon. It was closed. For some inexplicable reason they have chosen to be closed on one of the two days when most people have time to shop. Frustrating and bizarre. Sorry, would love to give you a review of the actual business, but not being open gets one star from me. Oh, however, they are open on Sundays … ?? Needed something for the kitchen this week - but it was Saturday. Since this business is closed on Saturday, I ended up ordering the item - and a few other things - from Amazon. Would love to shop local, but when local places put up barriers like this, it’s sometimes not an option.

Just had the most amazing experience in this store! Mariko was so sweet and amazing to my partner and I, she answered so many of our questions and you can tell she really loves what she does and was so genuinely helpful! She even went out of her way to look up some things for us to help navigate around a food allergy! Absolutely 10/10 can’t wait to come back!

They have it. Whatever it is that you are looking for they have it. Utensils. Gadgets. Seasonings. Spices. Coffee, popcorn, oils.
The coffee bar is really good. Prices on point. And the sweets case is awesome.
The best lemon bars I’ve ever had in my life.
Friendly staff. Cute shop. Great building.

They have this very enticing sign on their sidewalk inviting you in for coffee and sandwiches. This place is everything but inviting. The barista was so rude and condescending including a couple of dirty looks. I won't be back. She told me 8 to 10 minutes to warm up my egg bagel so I went for a walk and actually considered not going back to pick up the bagel.

I have been a customer since the day they opened! I love the choice of product, the outstanding customer service, the wonderful sales they offer seasonally. The cooking classes are fantastic - yes, they are a bit expensive but honestly they are worth it. This family owned business is worth supporting!

I came to the store, looking for a very odd piece of equipment, and I was immediately helped by the youngest member of the staff who got me in touch with a knowledgeableperson who got me exactly what I needed in five minutes

I am lucky to experience TKE both as a customer and an instructor. TKE provides everything I need for my home kitchen. As an Asian American, I really appreciate their wide variety of high-quality tools, which are essential for my home cooking.
From an instructor's viewpoint, the staff and managers always ensure I have everything I need to run my classes successfully. TKE exemplifies how to run a business by treating both employees and customers with the utmost respect. I highly recommend checking this place out, especially the cooking classes ❤️?

I've had the pleasure of attending two different classes through the Kitchen Engine cooking school the past few months. One was limited hands-on participation and more demonstration/entertainment style, and the other was 50/50 hands-on. Both had amazing instructors (special shoutout to Jamie Aquino!) and the recipes were delicious. Not to mention easy to recreate at home. If you're looking for a fun date night activity or like me and want some bonding with your mom, take them to a cooking class at Kitchen Engine! And while you're there, try not to empty your bank account on the hundreds of gadgets and kitchen products in their attached store. But definitely grab some coffee and baked goods from their coffee bar!
