This is by far the slowest and worst location to rent from in the entire u.sIt's actually impressive how slow and terrible it is.Everyone needs some training to be more efficient here with the customer service. Everyone IS nice. It's just like walking through a southern grocery store with the pace.

Both thumbs up to the manager and crew of the Sprague Ave UHaul Rental Service. The rental process from start to finish was efficient and friendly. They made sure the trailer we rented was hooked up correctly, even to the point of loaning us an adapter and trying to figure out why the right taillight would not operate. Everything was done electronically through their phones or computer.For personal and up to date info do not call the 1800 number first, just reach out to this business.

Staff at location was great. When I went to fuel the truck up it became apparrant that there was a fuel leak in the fuel tank, as gas poured onto the grouand at the gas station. Seeing that the fuel ws not hitting anything like the muffleer I drove it to the location about 3 miles to return. I was charged for 42 miles but put almost 13 gallons of fuel in the tank to get it back to the fuel mark. Vehicle appears to have gotten about 3 miles to the gallon. I don't know exactly how much fuel came out of the leak but honestly I would have thought I would be compensated for driving a potenial bomb.

We came and got a Uhaul from here. Nichelle was working by herself, hustling around to get everyone taken care of quickly and efficiently and with a smile the entire time!! Was desperately needed pleasant experience all because of her AMAZING customer service!! Hopefully you get her when you come to this location!!!!

Lied on paperwork about mileage n was notified rt away. Went a total of 19 miles and they still refuse to fix it they said there was 3/8 of a tank nope only a 1/4. Provided pictures and everything..super rude when tried to fix the issue. My mom rents a U-Haul at least once a month . .but I'll never let her go back to this specific one

Full disclosure- THIS WAS NOT THE STAFF’S FAULT. Rather than trying to blame the little guy, it’d serve corporate well to take some accountability.Had an 8am for a 6x12 trailer and arrived 15 mins prior. Location A (an indirect retailer) sent me to location B.Got to location B ten minutes later. Being a direct retailer, I was in their system, but apparently had been switched to another store unbeknownst to me. Location C was an additional ten minutes down the road.Arrived at location C. After fifteen minutes of waiting, I’d been informed that my 6x12 had a flat. Got a 5x8 instead just to get out of there.Fast forward to 1pm- We were done with the trailer, and came to return it. There was a line out the door at the front desk, with nary a person to help. I walked out into the bay and found the same 6x12 I’d wanted, having it’s tire repaired.I found an attendant helping another customer and asked if I needed to fill out any paperwork. She informed me to just “unhook and drop it,” and I’d be good to go.The next day, I got a call from the same location-“About how much longer were you going to need that trailer for?”….Yeah. I’m never using UHaul again.

Not the best experience! The guy who gave me my keys did not give me a lock that I guess I was supposed to be given since I would be dropping off the van after hours. I was not told that I needed it and was just handed the keys. Because of this I was held up for almost 30 mins trying to find a drop box for the key and being on hold with 24-7 uhaul service. They had to call the manager via personal cell phone while I waited just to find out that there was no box and to lock the key in the van. This area is in a not so great part of town and as a single woman I was scared due to several homeless people roaming the parking lot and around the building while I was searching and waiting. The van as well was not completely clean. When I moved the steering wheel column there was food in between the column and the dashboard . Pretty disappointed with myexperience.

I was given a truck that stunk. Unfortunately you didn’t know it until the air conditioning had been running for a while. Then you were hit with a very musty, corn chip kind of smell. It’s 2022 and trucks still don’t have Bluetooth, are still horribly designed for comfort, and are still absolute garbage on gas consumption. The location was cool and folks were kind, but the truck sucked. The gear shift was obnoxiously difficult to move too. Every single time I have rented with U-Haul in the last 10 years it has always been a huge problem and being right on brand, this time was no different.

Yo. The team they have here is amazing. Clean well put together. The manager made it where I wouldn't mind working there. She is amazing. Above the normal you get alot now days. Only going there from now on. They saw me as a human not just a customer.

I would say worst customer service, but really it was no customer service! Went in to buy moving boxes. Gal at the desk wouldn’t get up to help me make sure I got the correct bar for the wardrobe box. Had me call out my items across the room rather than walk to see what I had. Three robust-looking young employees sitting around the desk and not one offered to help carry my boxes to my vehicle. Had a much better experience at the Coeur D’Alene location.

Shout out to Austin. He was the only one in the office when I arrived due to two sick calls. He was polite, calm, friendly and knowledgeable. It was a very hot day and he was running all over the place never missing a beat. Kudos to him. A lesser man would've caved under the pressure and walked off the job.

When we went to drop off the vehicle not a single employee knew what they were doing. They all acted as if they were high. Their payment system crashed after we had turned in our keys and the vehicle and we sat around for 45 minutes at which time we told them to just charge the card on file. I then got a call 5 hours later asking where the truck was… the person had never checked it in. We use uhaul 2-3 times per year and this was our first time at this location. They overcharged us on fuel refill, and when we had picked it up there was a tube coming out of the gas tank, so it was probably syphoned out while it was sitting out in their parking lot. We will never use this location or recommend it.

The staff was extremely sharp and had answers to every question I asked. The prices were very reasonable and they gave me a complete breakdown of the charges. And the manager was very involved in mt process and seemed very sweet. She was so nice in fact that I came back the next day and bought a new 7 pin for my own truck and she made sure it was installed immediately. Overall.......a great experience and a great store!!!

Such an awful experience thus far. We had reserved a truck in Moscow a month ago and come to find out, they didn't reserve it and were out. We then had to drive 2 hours out to this location to get a 10' truck, to which it was nearly impossible to start the engine. Once it did stay on, the gas meter was nearly empty, so we took a picture of the dash and headed a block up the road to fill it with gas.After pumping in nearly $130 in the tank, there was a huge gas leak coming out at the bottom, so we took to truck back to the Uhaul after closing. The guy that came out to see us for after hours assistance was nice and sent the photos to his manager so we can think of a game plan since we really need the truck.We were told to call roadside assistance, to which we were on the phone for an hour and a half and 4 different representatives saying they couldn't give us a truck and that we'd have to wait until the store opens tomorrow for hopes of getting a new one, with no guarantee of reimbursement for the gas and trip, despite having purchased the insurance for it. Now we have to make another 4 hour round trip and lost a day and a half of moving because of this.We're so incredibly frustrated and no way to directly contact the store has left us in an awful spot. I'm willing to change my review depending on customer service response, but at this point, I would stay clear of this place and find somewhere else.Update: After lengthy customer service calls, we were transferred to a different store to pick up a different truck that is working out good so far. We have yet to reach our destination, so we don't know fully yet if they will honor the partial refund for the gas/days on truck, so we'll see how that goes.With the gas prices going up, and how much gas was leaking, we suspect that someone may have siphoned it by drilling a hole in the tank. In light of this incident, please include checking for any leaks before making the trucks available for rent.

Overcharged for fuel refill even after we filled the gas up to the original level. It took a very long time to talk to someone with Uhaul guest service without solving it. Tried to visit the local office to get it right but the desk staff had no authority to make it right even when he agreed that they made a mistake. Very disappointing experience.
