I used to shop here alot. There prices have skyrocketed this past year. I can buy some of these items brand new for cheaper. Don't think I'll be going back. They have forgotten the meaning of thrift store.

So ridiculously over priced I was absolutely shocked. I’ll never go back!

It's supposed to be thrift store and affordable prices, I have noticed many items are priced higher than the newer ones.

I'm not sure what the bad reviews about prices are all about. I have visited most thrift stores in the area and I would say they just fall slightly on the higher end, but not by much. However, the quality of items here, especially furniture is way above average. Very nice couches, dressers, other furniture. Really good selection of clothing and coats. Beautiful artwork and other nick-nacks for home decor.Remember, all proceeds generated from UGM Thrift, auto, and other ventures go directly into their mission of helping the homeless and providing resources towards helping men, women, and children better themselves. Salaries have to be paid, rent and utilities need to be paid, some food items that don't get donated on a regular basis need to be bought, etc.On top of it all, the staff at this location are very friendly and helpful. As a current resident of UGM Men's mission transitioning back into housing, I applaud what this organization does for the community. Please keep all this in mind before writing negative reviews, they need all the financial support they can get. The prices are NOT outrageous.

The store looks lovely…personnel are very nice and helpful. Sadly….the prices ARE way too high compared to other thrift stores in Spokane. I used to shop at the Boone location every week. I am unlikely to go again, given the prices, the lack of ‘meaningful’ discounts and other incentives that were available in past years. Yesterday I was stunned to see a number of pieces of women’s clothing marked at $10 or $12 that I know would never be priced that high at other thrift stores I shop!

WHAT ARE THESE PRICES!!!! DID “God” tell them to rip people off ???? They had stuff priced MORE than the original price tag. Mind boggling.

Prices are too high for used items. No longer shop there. I can get the same thing brand new for half the price at any other retail store.

They had the men's short sized very well and the staff was very friendly.

Prices are outrageous! Men's sweaters that are stretched out and have fuzz balls all over $18.99!! I can get brand new at Macy's for less. That is just 1 example. This used to be my favorite store. The past 2 visits I walked out. I will never return nor donate here.

Nordstrom rack has hunter train boots for $89 brand new. Selling them used for $75 is laughable. I wouldn't set for in this store based on the prices on some of the items pictured.

This used to be my favorite thrift store, but won't be going back there again! Prices are lower at Nordstrom's, Nike Store, and Mor furniture. I typically buy new, but used to love browsing at the UGM downtown thrift store. I'm appalled at the inflated prices. UGM cannot use inflation as an excuse, they get everything free. I definitely won't be donating to UGM going forward. UGM is not in line with their mission, and thrift stores are historically for people unable to afford new prices.

This is a remarkable thrift store...it is so clean I was really impressed. The employees are very cool and friendly, they are kind to the customers...I haven't experienced a store like this in a long time where you get treated decent and you don't get what you didn't ask for forced down your throat. You're free to shop w/no issues - even in my head I was peacefully shopping thinking to myself that this store is so pleasant I think I will keep coming back here just so I can walk around and be reminded of how pleasant shopping? is supposed to be; even my eyes were pleased, like WOW - nowhere did I get disturbed w/disruptions of the world b/c this store was point blank period only selling me what I came in to shop for and nothing more; that was rewarding for shopping here. The music is calming, dressing rooms are clean, and the bathrooms are nice. The items are in good condition and very affordable. I can't say enough about this place. I wish I could have posted more pictures b/c there is so much stuff here.

I love to wander through thrift stores. I recently relocated to Spokane and was wandering around when I found UGM. Unlike many thrift stores, UGM is neatly arranged and orderly. It is easy to find and look at anything they have. In addition to this, their staff makes this a great place to spend some time browsing. Everyone working there is truly happy to be helping customers. I have bought several furniture items. I have donated many things too. Anything that I donate in the future will go to UGM Thrift.
