My first time here at this particular Value Village. It has also been a long while since I have visited any of the Value Villages. I was very shocked and very disappointed to find out that it is now a "Self Checkout" establishment, as well as all Value Villages.I am not a cashier. Who's job was replaced by these machines?I won't be returning until the cashiers return. Also, I think that it should be mandatory for stores that are self checkout to post a notification on their front entrances...

A few months ago, I came here to buy some new clothes for work. I intended to try them on...only to be told by an employee that there are NO fitting rooms.... What?!?! I was also told their return policy is store credit only. I only purchased one item (out of 8) as I knew it would fit. The checkouts are now self-checkout. Very disappointing, impersonal shopping experience.

The pricing at this new location is ABSURD!!! I'm aware that this is the case for most thrift stores nowadays, but this location is the worst! IT'S ABSOLUTELY INSANE, especially the clothing and shoes! As a single mother, I rely on thrift stores, for clothing and most everything. I never buy new and I don't care about brands. I went to look for some winter clothing, at this new location. I couldn't find a sweatshirt under $10. Even the cheap $5 crewnecks from Walmart were priced around $10! Jeans and shoes were all $12-20! There were multiple coats priced at $69-80!!! I spent a good hour searching for anything, but left with nothing!!

be careful here - no fitting room + no returns (exchange only). I went in for the first time last week, grabbed a bunch of clothes and asked about the fitting room. I was told by an employee that there wasn't one, and as I turned to start putting my stuff back she told me I could buy my stuff and return anything that didn't fit. Two pieces didn't fit and when I brought them back in I was told I couldn't get my money back. Of course the return policy is at the register and on the receipt so it's my bad for not checking, but I was told by one of the EMPLOYEES that I'd be able to make a return. This place is a scam.

I love thrifting and this is for sure one of the best stores to look for anything. BUT my only complaint here is the staff. There are plenty of good things like clothing and electronics but the staff was so rude. I found something without a price in the electronics section and I'm thinking "oh maybe I could get a deal on it". As I got my things to check out I asked the short woman of color "hey this didn't have a price" and she was quick to say "oh does 5.99 work?" I was trying to negotiate prices because hey it's a thrift store, things are meant to be cheaper right? After going back and forth for a minute another taller woman in the back who also works there said aloud "Oh my Husband specializes in those, it's around that price!" Like excuse me, is this your conversation? That was so uncalled for. The original woman was still firm on her price so I said screw it since the item is at least 4X it's value if I do want to resell it. That was my worst experience there. I'll still visit occasionally but it just ruined my day how I was treated by the staff. Completely unprofessional.

Rating one star specifically because post COVID they refused to bring their dressing rooms back and have a no return policy. So, if your clothes don't fit correctly or look good, you just got screwed out of every penny you spent. This used to be my favorite thrift from New Mexico to Washington and now their new policies have made them the worst. Won't be wasting my money gambling on their clothes. (FYI-they're a for profit company, which makes it worse.)

I’ve been shopping here since it was reasonably priced (like 10+ years ago) and have never tried to return/exchange anything. Recently, since they did away with changing rooms, my daughter bought some clothes and they didn’t fit, so I tried to take them back. We lost the receipt but tags were still on the clothes and they were in the same condition as when purchased - all the things their website says are necessary to exchange - and they wouldn’t return/exchange any of it. I took the $50+ in unusable clothes (3 pairs of jeans. ?) and donated them down the street at goodwill. Careful shopping here, especially for clothes!!

This place is going downhill very quickly, everything is unbelievably overpriced. I found this tupperware a couple days ago, it would literally cost me less to buy things new. I used to go to value village every week, and I was fiercely loyal of the store. Today after donating clothes (because I wasn’t able to return it) the cashier wouldn’t let me scan my discount card, even though it was sitting on the counter at the time of purchase. She explained I could “use it next time.” There’s not going to be a next time, I’m not ever coming back.

One star but understand that I still come here all the time, because a thrift store is still a thrift store and I like hunting for hidden treasures. I do find things worth buying pretty regularly. Compared to other thrift stores in the city though... No dressing rooms, no returns exchange only, have to have an employee unlock the bathroom for you, overpriced on many items and it's very inconsistent. So it's the worst one.My favorite thing about this store is when I have a LOT of donations they're generally the least picky and they're helpful with unloading. We had to do a Massive declutter when our hoarder ex-step-mother-in-law moved out and left most of her stuff for us to deal with, they took 90% of what we brought (several truckloads over several weeks!)

Very disrespectful staff. They overcharge on everything. THERE ARE NO CHANGING ROOMS!! How can you have a clothing store without changing rooms!?So sad to see this happen to Value Village as it used to be one of my favorite second hand stores. Don't come this store as it is now though. At best it's a waste of time, but you're also be wasting your money, and run the risk of the disgruntled staff disrespecting you.

No fitting rooms but the bulk.of the store is clothes. So you have to buy things you're not sure about and the return policy is garbage...if you buy something and don't like it or it doesn't fit. You can't even return it. Ypu just get in store credit. Put fitting rooms back in the store. Dumbest way to run a store that sells clothes.

It's a for profit thrift store, and I don't always agree with the prices. Has a decent book and movie selection, haven't looked much at their clothes, but if you're looking for cheap stuff, this isn't the place I'd look first.

NO FITTING ROOMS AND NO RETURNS. This location has no fitting rooms, yes they have a 14-day exchange policy but that's not good enough when you can't even try things on. No cashiers, self-checkout only, and way overpriced. They should be charging less when they aren't paying anyone to manage the fitting rooms and work the registers, not charging more. I've loved shopping at Value Village for decades and it's too bad this is what their stores have become.

Is anyone else experiencing the strong cologne odor eminating from their clothing? It's not horrible but it is strong and will not come out no matter how many times the garment is laundered. I have redonated several items because it. The weird thing is it's not really noticable in the store, but very strong when I get home. I won't be buying any more clothing there until they resolve this issue.

This place has really gone downhill. I took photos today, but the prices are this bad every time I go there. Once in a while, you find a gem at a price that makes sense, but they think that anything vintage is worth money, even if it’s broken, glued back together, dirty, stained, missing pieces, etc. It’s like they look things up on Etsy/EBay to see how much they’re worth in perfect condition and then price just slightly less, even if the item is trashed and wouldn’t sell for $1. Today I also saw a burnt candle from Target that costs $5 new at Target (I bought the same one there a couple weeks ago), but also $5 used. Doesn’t make any sense. Do better, “Value” Village.
