My wife went out to start her car this morning and it wouldn't start. Called Vandervert and they were great on the phone and said I could drop it off and they would work it in this week. I was luckily able to get it to the shop after a jump. Matt was awesome and tested the battery for us and it did turn out to be the battery. Tested the alternator just to be sure and it was fine. Got us in right away and the battery was done in minutes. Definitely will be back for anything else we need done.

Very pleased with the service and integrity of this place, they gave me their opinion on some things that I wanted looked at and they said it would be a bit more than what the car was worth but I'm happy they gave me that option. They gave me their honest opinion about a few things and didn't charge for it. That makes me trust them that much more. They didn't make up some excuse to do the work. That I appreciate the most. They definitely have my business. Thank you for doing great work.

I have untold stories of how well Vandervert has treated me, my family members, and my friends I’ve sent them. These people are honest. They are never looking to make more money for themselves; they’re looking to keep you as a customer for life by being the best in town and putting you first. And they do this. Everyone I send to them tells me the same thing: this is the best and only mechanic they will see in Spokane again.

Hands down the best auto shop in Spokane. Always give an honest assessment of work needed and the prices are very reasonable. Customer service is outstanding, staff are friendly and responses prompt. Make this your first stop for automotive needs.

I have to say- I'm very impressed with both the expertise and customer service of this location. Madison was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions to the best of her knowledge. Brian took great care of my vehicle, test driving it in all the ways I provided (on the Freeway, etc) and eventually found the previous mechanic I went to erased the OBD code stating the mass air flow intake sensor was faulty. Although they are a bit more expensive than other shops, the quality of care and effort makes it worth it. I no longer fear my car is going to break down on me every time I drive, and this shop didn't make me feel like I was dumb and didn't dismiss my concerns. Thank you Vandervert!

Car was finished on time with very little variation from the quote.

I have had 2 incredible experiences with Vandervert Automotive Services
These folks are amazingly knowledgeable Automotive repair.
I noticed my Honda Element was make a strange noise and what felt like a improperly balanced tire.What was actually happening was the left front CV Axel was going out.
Parts were ordered, car was repaired and she drive like a dream again.

After going to a dealer and another repair shop and paying for unnecessary repairs (that didnt make sense but not being a mechanic i had to trust) that didn't fix the problem on our chevy, Vanderverts did a thorough assessment, and even though it was extremely bad news, we know what the issues are.

I do not have enough words to express how grateful I am for Vandervert. My Jeep had been dying on me while at high rate of speed for 10 months and 6 different automotive shops including a dealership that could not correctly figure out why. It was 2 days my Jeep was with Vandervert and they FOUND IT! SPARK PLUGS, coils, and boots. This is after being told it was the transmission by a dealership, (which I replaced) and turns out did not fix the problem. Matt and Joss kept me informed every step of the way and I couldn’t be happier, they took the TIME to figure out the REAL problem. 100% recommend them for everything. You guys got me back on the road after 10 months. So very grateful. ❤️
