I went in today and took my dog in for an exam and a rabies shot. He is an older dog, and has some issues. The staff and the doctor were wonderful they cared about my dog. I had a problem with the pricing. I thought $104 was way too much for an exam and the lab screening if I had gotten it would’ve been $390. Then there’s x-rays Like I stated before, this is an older dog, and if he had been a young dog, I probably would’ve paid that amount, but that was way too overpriced and especially if the dog is probably not going to live much longer due to his heart problems. I’m sure there are cheaper vets in Spokane

We've been taking our Beagle to VCA North Division for a year, and have decided to stay with them even after moving to the Valley. They are always kind and treat our boy well. The morning after we had a late night trip to the emergency vet, Dr. Manwill texted us to check in on how Winston was doing.

Had to bring my pretty girl into VCA today. She's a white GSD who's terrified of strangers, doesn't let anyone pet her and typically sits BEHIND me shaking, all 92#s of her.Everyone has been so kind but Reed has a special touch. He came quietly to her and Sophie is loving him up. That NEVER happens.I couldn't be more comfortable and impressed with her visit. All issues were addressed, treatment plan in place. And they were able to see Sophie within 24 hours after her fall.Highly recommended

I used to work for a couple veterinarians in Idaho. I was worried when I moved here about finding a good one. I found a great one. I absolutely recommend this place. They are the best all around.

This is by far the most expensive vet we have EVER encountered in our 34 years of owning dogs. They also don't take anything seriously enough. If you want a place that cares and don't want your pockets emptied I'd suggest you go elsewhere. You also never see an actual vet, just vet techs.

Today my partner and I had to say goodbye to a longtime friend here. The vet assistant Charles was extremely kind and gentle, and the entire staff sympathized. Thank you. However I cannot give a full five stars since the vet initially wanted to x-ray our pet while waiting on 45 minute lab results. We declined the x-ray and soon the lab results alone showed conclusive and unfortunate results. Had we followed the suggested plan of care our expenses would have doubled.

My fur baby Lucky was not eating, and very sick. They were able to get him in the same day, and got a diagnosis and a treatment program, bringing our spunky 6 year old pup back to his ole self! Thank you so much for listening to our concerns and helping us help our furbaby! He’s doing so much better! And definitely on the mend!!

2 weeks ago, I would have given this place a 5 star review, they were amazing and did extremely well keeping my 90lb German Shepherd calm and relaxed.Today, we took him in to get his stitches removed, and from the beginning it was all different staff with some serious attitude problems. The second they took him to the back, I could hear one guy screaming at my dog to sit still. A few moments later, he came in with a red face and anger in his voice crying to me that my dog tried to bite him.My dog has never bit anyone in his 7 years of life, and has never shown an ounce of aggression, so maybe it had something to do with how he was being treated back there.A little while later, they called to ask us to come back and help them do their job, and handed my wife a soucher kit and asked her to do it for them. She said no, and then we were offered to take the kit home and do it ourselves. What kind of vet does that? What kind of vet can't remove souchers, even after a muzzle is placed on the dog?We ended up removing the stitches ourselves with a pair of makeup scissors. The only reason I'm not giving a 1 star review is because our first few visits were incredible. It seems as though some of the staff doesn't know that they work with animals, and doesn't know how to treat them with respect. It's just odd to me how we can have amazing experiences with 1 group of staff members multiple times in a row, and then another group AT THE SAME PLACE can make you never want to return.

Went there, they wanted to run tests on things we already knew. They charged us $94.36 to listen to the cats heart , check his teeth and look at his eyes. Definitely over priced. They were more interested in sell us their 63.99 per month via medical plan yearly cost of $767.88 and that just offers a 20% discount. Beware there are better programs offered that are national.and cost less.

How interesting that you had at the bottom of your message you're sorry about my experience and I can reach out to you. Interesting now that I've placed a review do you want to reach out to me if you're interested in your animals not their corporate model of working on them don't go to VCA

Very accommodating and helpful since I usually bring 3 dogs in at once.

This place is in it for the money only and do not care about your pet. I tooky dog in for vaccinations and got conned into joining a club that they run where you pay them a hundred bucks a month and they do nothing to earn it. Even though their permission to charge my card was revoked and they were asked to cancel as they explained I could do, they keep trying to charge my card. I knew they were hard up when my simple vaccine appointment turned into $5000.00 in supposedly needed medical treatment. I am reporting this business to the state Attorney General, Bob Ferguson and I encourage anybody else experiencing unethical treatment or whose credit card continues to be charged after cancelling this membership to do the same.

I could not be more at peace when I bring my dog to VCA North Division. As other reviews have stated yes, it is expensive but being reassured that your pet is okay and in safe hands is absolutely priceless. We had a bad experience at another clinic prior to coming to this clinic and I am absolutely amazed at the care we receive. Everyone loves my dog (Griffey, if any of you are reading this ?) and it warms my dog-mom heart hearing how excited everyone in the clinic is when we arrive! He is very shy and timid with new people (covid puppy), but has never failed to warm up to each of their team members by the end of our visit! We ❤️ you guys!

I can’t say enough good things about the VCA on North Division. They’ve been caring for all our animals since we moved to Spokane in 2021. It’s always a clean and welcoming environment as soon as you step in the door. They treat animals and their people with respect and compassion.

We didn't have an appointment, but this clinic took us in right away whilst my grandmother's cat was dying in a suffering manner that was very traumatic to the whole family. Not only did they accept us in and get us back to a room RIGHT AWAY, but they also were so respectful and understanding. This is an organization of true compassion and service to the community. The employees here have made the passing of our cat a beautiful family moment rather than a horrible trauma. They made sure that we, as well as the cat, were completely comfortable and supported. I cannot express my gratitude enough. ?
