I've been bringing my cars to this shop for years, I just tell them what I think is wrong with my car and then they diagnose the problem, tell me what's really needed and provide an estimate. And, not once have I needed the same repair done twice as they use good replacement parts, not the cheap knockoffs. Quality work for a reasonable price. Nice.
No wonder they have so many 5 star reviews, and even the one percent of negative reviews actually end up supporting the positive reviews in that any perceived customer problems with workmanship or quality appeared to be happily and promptly addressed by the shop owner. Integrity.
I'm sure there are a few other really good auto shops here in spokane, I'm happy I don't need to go sorting thru them all to find a better one. Winning.

[Update] I have STILL had nothing but good experiences here. They work fast, do good work at a good price, and the best part is that they're owned by a local family! I will be coming back again and again.

Husband had a horrible experience with the woman that owns this place about 6 months ago. Luckily he is semi versed in mechanics and has a friend who works elsewhere, the foreman at the shop his friend is smployed at confirmed his suspicions and was able to pinpoint what was actually wrong with his truck. Hour later all was well, cost another $500!!! A coworker of mine mentioned another bad experience which sparked my need to write a review. Be careful unless you want to come back a few times for fixes that never get resolved. It’ll cost you less to take your business elsewhere.

My daughter went here to get an alignment. They refused to do the alignment and said they needed to replace a control arm and ball joint assembly and outer tie rod first if she wanted to get the alignment done. They told my daughter that everything was bent up and about to fall out. Mind you, my daughter keeps up with the maintenance of her car so it’s in very well standing and runs and drives great other than the alignment. It even has a brand new engine that was built from scratch at the Kia dealership in Liberty Lake about two years ago. Anyway, the estimate Wilde gave her was a large lump sum of money; which was over $1100. My daughter had enough money to pay for it but we just wanted to be sure that was worth the price. so my husband, her father told her to wait. We took her car to two other auto shops just to be sure that’s what she really needed. They looked over everything and told us that none of that needs to be replaced at all and everything is straight. They were actually disappointed for my daughter about the condition they said her car was supposed May in and she was about to throw away $1141. If you choose to go here, I would definitely recommend having your car inspected before or after you have Wilde Automotive look at it before you agree to pay for their services. We had high hopes for them but I guess we should have listened to the other reviews. They sure do lie and will take advantage of you if they think you won’t find out. 2 stars because they were nice enough to tighten the lug nuts on one of her wheels.
Also, you can tell what kind of people just by looking at their replies to the reviews they have received. Unprofessional.

Didn’t know what the smog system or egr system was on a basic l98 Chevy small block and or how to route it asked them to do a tune up and got it home and coolant lines they removed for the job where not tightened all the way and it was leaking coolant. Don’t go here there is better options like botzons

This place is not, trust worthy. You've been warned people. They lie , cheat and steal any chance they get. I was kind, patient and understanding the entire time. They will take full advantage of you. Stay away. Charged me almost 1200 to fix A/C . I had to bring it in 4 times the issue was never fixed. I'm out 1200 and still have a broken AC .

Got me in on short notice and got my AC up and running like new. I feel their rates are very competitive, and the quality of work and communication was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Very rude woman she cussed me out because I asked for my invoice on a job that they are now having to do for the third time. Very unprofessional. Said it's not her fault they messed up my car. Also hung up in my face without explaining how to get my warranty done.

I went to get my car checked out before making a long trip. They were very quick and made my mind at ease knowing there was nothing wrong with my car.

Took my truck here to get its AC serviced because another shop refused to work on it due to the previous owner using stop-leak in the refrigerant. These guys replaced a couple leaking valves and got my AC working again in just a couple of hours. Price was also very reasonable. The shop also has a large kid-friendly waiting area. I plan to take my cars here going forward.

This shop is absolutely amazing!!! My car felt like it was falling apart after sliding into a ditch. After getting an estimate I wasn’t sure about, I took my car to them for a second opinion. Svcs were 500$ cheaper than the first estimate. They have 3rd party financing which saved me! When I got my car back it felt like a brand new car. They went above and beyond, I noticed they fixed a couple things I did not pay or ask them to fix. I was married to a mechanic for 15 yrs it was hard to find a shop that I trusted after my divorce. These guys are awesome!!!

Total joke. I took my car here for squeaking brakes and a strange sound when I turned my steering wheel. They got back to me quickly and said it was repaired. I paid the diagnostic fees and got into my car. The second is pulled out and hit my brakes, they were squeaking (a very noticeable loud squeak). I went back in and let them know. The man who worked on my car came out with me to hear them and then proceeded to give me a long winded answer for why it must be doing it and that they were fine. I accepted that and went to leave again. This time, when I pulled out, my steering wheel was still making the same noise. I understand that mistakes happen and things are missed and I am generally very understanding of these things, but what is absolutely absurd to me is that he didn’t even take it for a test drive! Not even around the parking lot— for steering and brake issues! Of course they didn’t catch the problem, because they didn’t even test out their own work. I know this because when he got in my car for me to show him that the brakes were still squeaking, he said “huh, it didn’t do that when I backed it out of the garage into the spot”. It was directly behind the garage door. There would’ve been no opportunity to even mess with the steering at all and minimal braking to gauge how the brakes sounded.I told them that I needed a refund as they did not actually address any of the presenting problems. The front desk employee told me that I was braking wrong in my car. According to her, I am supposed to slam harder on the brakes anytime I brake to keep them from squeaking. I told the front desk employee that I did not trust anyone in the shop to look at my car, and that I was shocked that they couldn’t hear what is an incredibly loud squeaking and tried to just send me on my way. She replied with “you’re going to have to be nice if you want a refund”. Mind you, I did not raise my voice, curse, or once disrespect any of the employees. I simply told her that I did not want anyone at the establishment touching my car.She did ultimately give me a refund, but I cannot stress enough that this is not a shop to go to. Save yourself a wasted day and frustration, and go to someone that doesn’t rush and will actually take your car for a drive when they have allegedly “fixed” it.
